Yellowknife River Territorial Park Day Use Area

I visited some points in my aurora hunting tour.

At night is peaceful and an amazing experience.

Great little place on the Yellowknife river. Popular boat launch and fishing spot. The local lakes are better fishing IMO. Lovely spot for a picnic.

Quick dip in the river to cool off during the unseasonably warm days. Clean, easy to park, no problem bringing the dog

Great facilities, nice little dock. First time I came across fire buckets for dosing your fire, super smart idea. Already planning next year's trip.

Great access to the river and a perfect spot to watch the northern lights!

For any big events they should probably consider having more porta potties. Overall indigenous day it's pretty fun.

Beautiful place for a hike. Carry bear spray or bear bangers for safety, there's a lot of wildlife.

Yk river is a great spot to go, always a fun time. I go there with my family quite often, have a campfire, roast hot dogs, smores, go fishing, the kids play at the park, always a great time for me & my family 😀

The castle was awesome and the snow carvings were great with lots of details. All the tunnels were cool and the kids had a great time.

Lots of space, fire pits, picnic tables, boat launch. You can fish along the banks and bathrooms on site.

Decent place to spend the day. It is a bit close to the highway to be peaceful.
