The Valhalla Inn

What a lovely place! The hotel may be not the fanciest one but I would recommend it a 100%! I travelled a lot but never met such friendly and helpful people. The rooms are easy but you can have there everything you need. It's clean, the beds are big and cozy and the food is also a 10/10. Big thanks to the whole family who made such big effort to help us out.

I've eaten here a couple times passing through, over the years. Today was no different. Same quaint little restaurant, same awesome hospitality! The woman is so funny and kind. The food was pretty darn good too! I will always stop and eat here!

Not a fancy hotel but definitely one of the best. The rooms are simple and cozy. The building is gorgeous. Some of the best Chinese food to be had in bc and some of the nicest staff you will ever meet. Worth a stay for a night if you find yourself coming through new denver

Stopped in for a lunch while visiting the area. Lovely serving person with awesome and friendly service with the f good food. The soup of the day was definitely home made.

It as a very quaint place. The owners were lovely. I was expecting something a little more majestic with by way of the pub with the name "Odin's Pub", but the beer and service were very good, so I'm certainly not complaining. Overall very nice.

Maggie was so kind, we were glad to have stayed here and it felt very home-like.

I absolutely loved this little Inn. We rented 3 rooms all rooms were differentand exactly what we all needed. The staff was so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely gives you that small town vibe. There is a restaurant attached and the food and service was great there too.

I ride my Harley to New Denver every year and stay at the Valhalla Inn as a base. This family owned business makes you feel like family. The food is good, be sure to ask for the “other” menu, authentic home made Asian food. The rooms are basic and very clean. I keep coming back mostly because of the owners and staff. The town is quiet. The area is beautiful. If you ride a motorcycle, you must check this place out. Thank you Mark, Vicky, Maggie and the rest of the staff.

The rooms are a little outdated but still comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel is amazing, the service is top notch. The food is cooked fresh. I recommend the chicken wings or the Viking Valhalla Burger.

We rode into New Denver on a Saturday and were surprised they had basically rolled up the sidewalks. Luckily the restaurant at the Valhalla Inn was open and take out available. The happy and friendly lady was a real gem. We enjoyed our delicious lunch at a picnic table in the park. It made for a wonderful day to enjoy some fresh air and mountain scenery.

Well maintained place, very clean! Beds more than confortable! Some room to be 4 adults with big luggages. Very quiet on a Friday night!

Maybe it was not an absolute gourmet 5 course dinner… but it was simple, good, affordable, open at 8pm, friendly service and there was a large parking lot at the back. A simple thank you !

You will be pleasantly surprised. The staff are top notch. Although the rooms are dated. They are clean. Phone them and book directly you will get a better price then online.

Every year in late summer I spend a couple of days at the quaint and charming Valhalla Inn in picturesque New Denver BC. Over the years the place has steadily improved, maybe not yet perfect, with very appreciable hosts and excellent service. A great place to go, away from glass- and steel-towers in big cities, in an area with clean air and a touch of history.

Didn't stay, but stopped in for some chinese food for lunch and it was fantastic!

Rooms newly renovated. Different types of rooms to choose from. Friendly and passionate staff. Resturant and pub open for all meals and easy access. Kids love the environment. Lake access is only one block away. Churches right across from the inn. Great value !

We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I didn't notice much noise through the night - although other visitors might find the fridge a bit loud. Breakfast was yummy.
For those with electric vehicles, the Level 3 charging station (CHADEMO/CCS) is just a half block away.

A very pleasant unpretentious inn, with a warm welcome clean and comfortable rooms and good shower.

We dine in this place and the food was delicious and the service was awesome. We recommend this restaurant.
