Had an amazing time at this campground this past weekend.
The sites are very clean, & fairly private, which I really like, especially if you're an introvert like me. Also, the owners are absolutely amazing, very kind, & helpful.

Nice grounds with excellent treed lots and friendly staff. Great looking play areas large lake for fishing and nice warm showers

Quaint, but lovely. Really quiet with friendly and helpful staff. The spots are very nice and the whole park is exceptionally well maintained.

We were highly impressed with Stoney lake campground. Water and dump station on site, nice quiet spot. Fair sized, private sites and lots of bathrooms throughout the campground. Wood available at the office, ice as well but that is cash only. The playgrounds were kind of bland but it's still something to play on.

Nice little campground. The lake has algae. Not sure I’d want to swim or play close to the shore. Has a small playground and a volleyball net.

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed at, clean bathrooms, cheap showers(with enough time to shower). The staff are very friendly and regularly check the campground for garbage and keep it all around well maintained. The water is clean and great for swimming. I highly recommend going here!

Great staff and large lots. Unfortunately we were there when the Midges were in their 2 week life. We have been there 3 times and enjoyed the lake every time!!

The water is so clean & clear. A month ago the dogs wouldn't even walk on the sand. All the rain we got was clearly a huge help. Now I can't get them to leave....had a wonderful time....I even ventured in and yes it was FREEZING!

Elk Point is a town located in Eastern Alberta, Canada. It is located on Highway 41. A number of oil related businesses have located in Elk Point. Agriculture is also important in the Elk Point area. Elk Point is located on the North Saskatchewan River which was a fur trade route. Both the Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Company had posts on the river near Elk Point. Alberta Culture has built an interpretive centre near the remains of Fort George and Buckingham House. source
