Wow! Great steak sandwich and my gf had a triple burger 🍔. Huge platters of great food for a really good price! The waitress was the nicest gal. She was so good,efficient and personable! 10/10. Will be back!

Has hands down been my favorite Chinese buffet since the first time I went there probably close to 20 years ago. Only thing they could do better is bringing back the daily buffet indtead of just on weekends. Not from sherwood park, but when im in the area I try and go every time. Also really nice that kids under 3 eat for free on the buffet!

His staff are as equally great too!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Smilie's Sherwood Park, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, they truly went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was both safe and delicious.

To begin with, I placed my order online, and the process was incredibly convenient. The menu options were extensive, and I appreciated the ease of customizing our dishes to our liking. What sets Smilie's apart, however, is their commitment to customer safety, as I found out firsthand.

My wife has a newly discovered mushroom allergy, and I had mentioned this in the order notes. When I arrived to pick up our order, I was pleasantly surprised when the head chef/owner himself came out to speak with me. He informed me that the soya sauce originally used in the dishes we ordered contained mushrooms, but they had taken it upon themselves to make alterations to ensure our meal was completely safe for my wife.

Not only did they switch to a mushroom-free soya sauce, but they also took extra precautions to prevent any cross-contamination. The chef's dedication to our safety was truly impressive, and he even took the time to explain that the appearance of our dishes might be different due to the change in soya sauce. We were instantly put at ease knowing that they were taking our allergy seriously.

When we got home and opened our meal, we did indeed notice a difference in the appearance of the dishes, as the chef had mentioned. However, what truly mattered was the taste, and I can confidently say that there was absolutely no compromise in flavor. Everything turned out incredibly delicious!

Went here for a Friday evening meal, the food was fresh, and it all tasted very good. The wait staff ensured our drinks were refilled. Smilies never disappoints.

What an amazing place all around!! We walked in at 7:52 pm because we read on a google search that they closed at 9:00 not 8:00.
They welcomed us in and cooked EVERYTHING we wanted fresh. Taste of the food was AMAZING!! The dessert bar had a lot of variety too! We are from Edmonton and will always take the extra drive now to come here when we need a buffet. They have a Father’s Day Brunch too, can’t wait for that.

This place is awesome and I always recommend them to anyone asking about this type of food! Great staff too!

A lot of buffets have shut down post CoVid, but we’re so glad Smilie’s didn’t. The salad bar is fantastic with fresh options and it has a great variety that you don’t see much of anymore. The buffet itself has your classic Chinese cuisine along with some western fare to please all tastebuds. Even the dessert bar has a good variety to satisfy your sweet tooth. From tapioca pudding to squares and cream puffs. Or there is jello and fresh fruit if you so desire. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant setting with lots of room and a separate bar/lounge area. The buffet usually runs on Friday and Saturday nights and you will find many favourite Chinese dishes. The buffet also offers a to go service where you pay by weight for the items you choose.

A few gluten-free hot options. There is a Western and Asian menu with several gluten-free options. The kitchen is careful in their preparation of my food. Service was amazing!

Wow, what a great place. It's been here for 27 years for a reason. These guys don't fook around. Go and find out. Chinese food that actually tastes fresh and served hot. Fusion cuisine, traditional plates, and uncommon dishes you won't find at the big box restaurants. Check out the menu and see for yourself. You won't believe # 26b.

Amazing food and huge portions! I got takeout for my birthday, we spent $100 worth of food so I was worried about the size of the portions but they are huge! Everything came in reusable containers, except the chicken balls and spring rolls they came in Styrofoam containers so they wouldn't get soggy. I ordered online and everything was ready in 20 minutes! It was delicious. We had Golden 88 about 2 weeks ago and Smilies was 1000 times better!!

Food was ok, did not have high expectations anyway as this place has went down hill, The old lady that served use with the lip diamond was so ignorant & then had the nerve to complain about the tip we gave her.

Service is excellent, ambiance is welcoming and food is very delicious! We had a very fun time!

Delicious buffet! Loved the Szechuan beef the most. Also, the banana cream pie was delicious! You also have to try the crab and cream cheese puffs (not on the buffet). Great service by Jordan. I would definitely go back!

Stopped in after bowling. 6 adults and one little girl celebrating her birthday. Had no issues bringing on her cake and even gave us the private room that was t in use. Can't remember our waiter's name (older gentleman) but he was fabulous. Food was good and reasonably priced. Will def be back
