Bibliothèque de Beaumont Library

As homeschoolers from Edmonton, we would like to share that Beaumont Library is oft travelled to from city dwellers. My children go there regularly because their book collection is fabulous, ***the lack of ipads*** ensures screen free learning time, the play area is robust, and the library programs are absolutely stellar. There are amazing early childhood programs that offer songs, book reading, and a craft from caring staff. It is often commented that the Elementary programs are really what set Beaumont Library apart. They have an incredible STEM after school program that is available for free to the public and is so well thought out that includes Lego nights, egg drop challenges, building challenges, robotics, screen free coding activities, etc. I really hope for even more funding to be pumped into the libraries programming, because what they offer for children for free is mind blowing. I really appreciate that my kids get somewhere safe to learn in a fun way. The program developers are clearly passionate about their work and go above and beyond. They deserve a raise :) Beaumont Library should be set as an example for all Libraries to follow. Simply the best Library ever, even with it being in a smaller space than big city libraries.

What a great experience at this library. We were attended to by Jennifer and I so much love her professionalism. She related very well with our son carefully explaining the process to him.

She told us how to register online on both the Beaumont library and the TRAC platform.

I love this place, Its real nice and quiet and whenever my computer breaks down I can bike over here and pick up on my work at the computers.

The staff was great! Went here for a craft night with my son. We had a blast making pitate costumes and listening to pirate stories!

Awesome library with vaulted ceilings - you have to see it. Good community programming (especially for kids)! Also an absolute GEM of a toboggan hill just behind it on the pathway.

The library is the best place to find good books to read. It also has a lot of awesome children's programs.

Always a great experience, from trips to pick out books with kiddo to using their archaic device that is a fax machine.

Have always enjoyed interacting with the ladies at the library. They are super helpful always. They make research so much easier

Everyone I’ve talked to at Beaumont Library has been very helpful. If they don’t have a book you’re looking for, they are part of the EPL network, and will be able to get it for you.

The programs for toddlers are great. They are a good price as well. My son loves going there.

Kudos to Megan Palmer and Taryn Gauthier who were awesome at helping me with completing a challenging computer task.
