Restaurant Kiku

Amazing experience!! The food was so good, staff were very nice and the desserts were great too! Google says it's $$$ but tbh the prices seemed very decent. Highly recommend! Chef Nick is fantastic :)

Formerly known as Mikado but under the same management and new name :"Kiku" this (still) family owned restaurant provides unchanged, stunningly presented meals made with great care and attention to detail. Generous portions of fresh ingredients, very savoury, creative sauces and a homemade ice cream that rivals most parlours make this beautiful flower an essential destination for sushi lovers.

Food and service was really good! The female vietnamese cashier made it really easy to order and had a bright aura surrounding her. She was super helpful and I hope to meet her again soon. Will be back to order more delicious food!

Amazing sushi. When they were allowed to have indoor dining it was incredibly well done with plexiglass dividers between each table. The quality of food here is awesome I recommend you ask about the hidden menu items such as the NDG roll and the Ashley roll!
Don’t miss the desert of ice cream on a paint palette with chocolate sauce.

The management is incredibly kind and friendly and everyone we’ve ever interacted with there is knowledgeable and courteous. Always great for a date night.

I greatly enjoyed my first time coming to kiku. The food was excellent, the quality a cut above all of those all you can eat places downtown. We got the sushi and sashimi combo and the beef tataki, which tasted great. The atmosphere and decor I found to be very relaxing. Looking forward to the next time I dine here!

It was my first time at this location. The food was delicious. They do have lunch specials available as well. We went a la carte. The miso soup was tasty and a nice portion. We tried the appetizer tuna tempura. It was good but not spectacular for the price or serving size. The sushi and sashimi were all melt in your mouth fabulous. The service was also very good. It is a pricey lunch but well worth it. If you are having a sushi craving it is probably the best in the area.

Amazing sushi, fantastic environment and super friendly efficient service. The nigiris, makis, tempura, and rolls are quite amazing with super fresh sea food. It's a must for any sushi lover. We went for a business meeting and the backdrop couldn't have been better.

An amazing and inventive team of sushi chefs - an absolute neighbourhood gem. If you’re feeling adventurous, sit at the bar and let the chefs make your menu based on what’s fresh. I absolutely love this place.

An amazing dining experience! We ate well and the service was phenomenal! We had the gyoza, chef's choice maki/sashimi plate and the painters pallat (dessert) all of it amazing! Everything was presented beautifully.

And again the wait staff was fantastic!

I am not a sushi fan but I LOVE SASHIMIS!
They have the best sashimis, with a good variety of dishes that are excellent. Even their sushis are good, I can tell they use high quality fish.
