Yesterday my cat passed away and everyone I spoke to : the receptionist , dr, and technician were incredibly compassionate and kind. I really appreciated the way I was treated. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. They were kind and professional and performed dental surgery on my dog for a quarter of the price quoted by other vets in Montreal. No pressure to do unnecessary procedures, top notch care. Thank you so much.

Our cat, which we found on the street with wounds, infections and fractured teeth, needed dental cleaning and extractions of the broken fragments. All the other vets said it would be at least $1000 to $2000+tx for the operation, so I was in disbelief when Vet Taschereau told me their fee. I even called twice to confirm I had heard right. The total came to $800 WITH blood test, post-op meds, and taxes.

Honestly such a great experience from start to end. The reception team was friendly and informative as well over the phone as in person. Everyone from the tech to the vet was patient with all my questions. They also called a few days after the operation to check-in on the recovery.

I saw some previous reviews about waiting in line outside or appointment fees. Maybe the policy has changed in the last months but I always was able to get an appointment with no charge.

Lots of availability ( was able to get an appointment the next day after I called), very gentle with my gf dog, and they where upfront about what they had to do and not try to sell and pressure us into doing other unnecessary procedures. Also, they did a follow up to see how my gf dog was doing.

They literally saved my dog and my wallet! Great service great with very affordable prices! They even have a walk in. Highly recommend.

Very nice staff and Vets, very competitive prices but sometimes hard to get appointments

They took such good care of my cat! He had to spend 6 days and 5 nights there. They let me come daily to visit him and give him little treats. While in the backroom with my cat, the technicians were friendly and opened to answer my questions about my cat. The vet would call me daily to give me more in depth information about the condition.
The size of the cage they had my cat is very large, good size!
When it was time to being him home, the vet showed my tricks and gave me tips on how to ease my cat into taking the pills prescribed to him (for 10 days).
Very friendly and very bilingual.

I love that vet!! They are so kind and patient.they took real good care of my fur baby dog .he needed to extract some teeth and had a very bad infection .now he is free of infection and clean teeth.while they took care of that they did a free nail cut and clean a bobo je had on his back.the price are really good and low. The place doesnt look very nice when u walk in but trust me i recommand them to everyone.they are honest and wont make u pay for something if your dog dont need it. The only negative side would be you cant make a phone appointment u need to go early in the morning and wait in line to have a number they open a 8 but got to be there in line before 6 if you wanna make sure to see the vet

They saved my cat Phoenix's life. All the vets around my place none of them were available for the whole week. Tachereau veterinarian hospital was able to see my cat, the next day emergency surgery was performed and saved my cat's life special mentions to Dr. Jean-simon Richard, and Sherylann for special attention and care. Had a wonderful experience here they take care of our animals, and the prices are reduced. Thank you

Great experience with vaccines and sterilization of our kitten. The reasonable prices and amazing care make the journey from Lachine worth it! Our kitten might have a different opinion about having to wear her cone though :P

My bunny got neutered yesterday and he recovered soon after without any complications. The staff were also very nice, my bunny was provided with water and food while staying at the clinic. Very reasonable price as well.

They have a heart along with reasonable prices. The Bestest in my mind!

It is a great clinic with amazing staff. Dr. Allan is amazing, very knowledgeable, and kind. He really cares about his patients. Everyone at the front desk is very nice and diligent. They do their best even when it is busier. The technicians are so nice and skilled. It is an affordable clinic where your animal will get everything it needs. Make sure to go early, because since it works as a walking clinic, if you don't go early, you might not get an appointment for the same day.

Polite staff, without appointment your wait depends how many people before you, I waited about 1.5hr , no price gouging. I paid only 130$ for the check up, xrays, and anti vomiting pills for my cat. Very bilingual.

Been there a few times. And have to say they did not over sale the diagnostic. Very thorough and taughtful analysis of our dog injury.

Affordable and always helpful. If you want a set scheduled appointment it’s 20$ more, if you want a walk-in appointment you have to reserve your spot inline in the early morning and then they will call you later in the day once they are ready for your pet.
Great place for getting affordable shots and vaccinations!

The staff is very professional and polite as usual.
Very organized schedule creates no attending line as it was the couple of years ago.

Dr Richard Alllen is the most humane vet Ive ever met. His mission is to bring affordable care to all pet owners witht the same quality standards as in any other clinic. Yes, it means you have to wait for your turn. Honestly, I dont mind. Also help support the Fauna Foundation (google it) if you believe us humans should make this world a better place for other species. The staff is amazing and very supportive, as today I had to euthanize my beloved Bicha and they were excellent to her and to me.
