Restaurant Hoai Huong

Ok this was a very nice surprise. We were a small group and we chose to sit on their outdoor terrace which was lovely and had umbrellas in case the rain came.
The staff was very prompt and helpful. My friend who suggested this place also suggested I share their 3-style beef platter with her and I am so grateful she suggested that dish, it was delicious and fun. It comes with round rice wrapper sheets and a warm water semicircle container to dip your sheets into to assemble your spring roll wraps.

Delicious and fun all around. I will come back to try other dishes.

The place is busy….. for good reason. The food is excellent. we went on a cold night with the idea of warming ourselves up with Pho. but the menu was so authentic Vietnamese with other dishes that are to find in Montreal that we tried a few other things. Everything was absolutely delicious AND quite authentic, including the side of Birds Eye Hot chilis. Friendly but not over-friendly and efficient service I’m coming back as sooon as possible to try things like Banh Ca\Xeo and Fish braised in a claypot. Even parking was easy in the evening. BRAVO !

It's extremely hard to find good, authentic Vietnamese food in this city; let alone BANH XEO. I was so extremely excited to see it on the menu and knew it's what I wanted to eat. Portions were massive and the service was amazing. Highly recommend!!! Thanks so much!

Awesome neighbourhood gem. Friendly service. Great soups. Lunch express special is great value. Big portions. Mango salad is delicious. Outdoor patios in warm months. Busy with a local crowd. Some limited vegetarian options, would love it if their fried spring roll or imperial roll came in a vegetarian version. The kitchen knows exactly how to fulfill your Vietnamese cravings!

The food was very good and the table loved the beef wrap dish.

Service was courteous and prompt and it was fun to just chat with the owners of the restaurant.

Best Authentic Vietnamese food in town! Simple! Staff is super friendly, remember since years my name, orders etc. If they’re busy, and I need something, the place is small, cozy so I simply stand up and reach out to a waiter close to the cashier if needed.

People are looking for Authentic food but want it done the American way! 😜

The best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Montreal. They’ve been in business for over 30 years and 2 generations. The food is unbelievably tasty and the service is super fast. The menu might be overwhelming but unless you’re super picky, you won’t be disappointed with any choice. Just ask them and they’ll tell you your best option based on what you like!

Vietnamese spring rolls are very delicious, the outside layer is crispy and the inside has a lot of spices. the vietnamese pho is also very good with sweet broth and fresh meat. This place also has outside seating suitable for both dining and breathing in the fresh air. Take note of both the steamed rice and the ribs, it's truly a fun experience

It's a great restaurant, taste so good, great portion, it's super meaty, it's a place I would eat usually if it is next to my home.

I went with a Vietnamese friend. Food was approved by her as authentic, and I approved it as absolutely delicious!
My favorite one was the soup, pho. This is exactly the soup you want to have in a winter day! The food came super fast, and they brought everything together. The food is not expensive and the place is small but cozy. There is parking right in front of the door.

Amazing fresh food, I tried many of their combos and always been very satisfied. They have a great customer service, they care for their clients and on top of that, the food is delicious.

I discovered the Banh Dap today . It was delicious! Even the waiter took the time to show me how to eat it properly. Will go back for sure 🤟🏾

I have been coming here for more than 20 years. Still a favourite. The place is clean, the service is good, the atmosphere is pleasant and the food is always satisfying. One of my favourite places for pho in Montreal. Highly recommended.
