Restaurant Le Pirate De Laval

What can I say about Le Pirate de Laval? There are no words to express how happy I am everytime my family and I go there. We have been coming here for years for family events, birthdays, mother's day, valentine's day etc...

This past weekend I hosted a bridal shower in their small private room and I have to say, they went beyond my expectations. They were so amazing from the first meeting to the day of, up until the party ended. My guests were SOOO happy, the food was out of this world, and the service was incredible. Our waitress Claudia, was so sweet, so patient and so kind. Le Pirate de Laval is the PERFECT place to host an event, Alex is such a friendly person and very flexible and will do everything to make sure your event is perfect just the way you want it! Amazing, delicious high quality Italian cuisine! A must try.

A very clear and obvious example of the phrase :"don't judge a book by its cover" Le Pirate may not look like much from its simple ornamental porthole door but upon entering you quickly discover the true charm - A lovely, antique pirate ship theme crewed by the warmest, most welcoming and pleasant staff you'll find. In addition to the main dining room; there are also seperate rooms for private parties (pre-covid).
Every ingredient is always fresh to create wonderful traditional meals with modern twists. From seafood, to pastas to meat dishes it's impossible to go wrong here.

As a first visit, we must say this was memorable. The food is simply amazing. Took the kir royal (the best ever), minestrone soup and Cesar salad, filet mignon with shrimps and chicken parmigiana. Extremely good; cooked to perfection. The vegetables were perfect, tasty. The filet mignon cooked perfectly (medium). Good music from an accordeon man and in different languages. Highly recommended

I had a surprise party planned for my mom and decided to go here. She had a blast. There was a guy that played the accordion. The waitress was extremely kind. The food was DELICIOUS. Thank you so much to everyone at Le Pirate.

Le Pirate is the back bone of the city, an institution that’s been striving since must of us were still in diapers. It’s regal service and more than delightful food makes for a divine combination. Laval is lucky to have Le Pirate!

This is my first time going to this restaurant it is so good!! For the price and the quality of the pasta, it is 10/10! The restaurant is very cozy and homey :)

Everything 10/10 , I’ve been here twice for a family dinner event and always satisfied. I will be definitely going back sometime soon. 😋🍽

Food was excellent, I ordered fish of the day and it was delicious. Portions and price are very decent. Cocktail was also very good. Restaurant has a live musician, great atmosphere, interesting decor. Very efficient and friendly service. Would definitely go back

we attended a birthday party here, so we tried a variety of their appetizers and main courses, it was good. i loved the rib steak! the waiters are very nice!

Went for a 60th birthday party. Without asking they switched us the large private room wich was very appreciated. We had the option to start ordering when the first half of the group was seated (again very appreciated). The food was great (best cheese lasagna I had)... they served a cake we brought and they don't charge for serving it. There are items for all budgets (appetizers start 8$ and entrees start at 18$)

Just had my birthday here. Also my daughters baptism last year. They are friendly, care about making us happy and really go beyond to accomodate for extra activities and decoration set ups. Big Thank you to Alex's and their team for making my birthday memorable. A big plus when you have a number of kids. Private rooms and a hall available - which is what I took. Kid friendly

I celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday this past weekend at Le Pirate. The experience was mind blowing. From first contact, the manager Alex was very accommodating and friendly. Staff was amazing and food A+. I recommend anyone to do their special occasions here, they will not disappoint!

Loved the atmosphere, the services and the food. Prices not so high for the quality of dinner. Not sure what is the link between pirates and the fine cuisine though.

My wife and I enjoyed the evening with great food, great service, with reasonable prices.
Will definitely go back soon.
