Marathon Souvlaki Laval

Great food like always. Went here at least 15 times and it’s great every time. The food is tasty and well made, meat is juicy. The food is totally worth the price. The employees are patient and helpful and really nice. The only downside is the parking that is small and it takes time to find a parking spot (be careful because people may scratch your car) but overall great place.

Used to come here almost weekly when my family used to live in Laval; since then, we moved and my father passed.

Came back today with my mom and the food is just as good today as 20 years ago. We also had wonderfully excellent service by Gregory - he is one of the most attentive and sweet servers I’ve ever had and he helped make mine and my mom’s experience truly lovely. Thank you to everyone at Marathon for being a consistently excellent place to enjoy delicious food! ☺🙏

Friendly young waitress who prides herself on good service and smiled the entire time. Fresh tasting menu in a clean environment. The food came nice and hot, which is something many restaurants forget about these days. Calamari a little on the pricey side but, they’re pretty good—just wish they were more tender and less chewy.

I've been coming to this restaurants for many years but i had went this Saturday night and what could I say ... Martha our waitress made our night ... food is always amazing but her services was impeccable... very welcoming , quick , amazing personality and always had a smile on her face ... will definitely ask to be in her section next time I visit again :)

Simple food, but very well executed. Eating there felt like home, the waiters were amazing and couldn’t ask for more.

Fried calamaris were okay but comes in a great quantity. The souvlakis were on point and their chicken is tender and so good. I could keep explaining how good the food was, but to be honest just give it a try!

Been coming to this place for 12 years on and off, and it’s been consistent all this time in terms of food, excellent service (with always a very friendly owner , manager and staff)and a great environment! I’ve been taking mostly the chickens pita for so long till I discovered the sausage pita (image 2) and it’s by far the best pita on the menu! Very well prices too!

I have been in Marathon for a couple times and its one of my favorite Greek food spots in Laval…
The food quality is fine but the meat portions are a bit small.
Will definitely go back to this restaurant again!

W place me and my grandma always order food from them and it gets delivered very very fast ( don’t use DoorDash or other stuff they have driver ) order directly from them. For the first time we went in Saturday and it was a very good place but we only ordered appetizers because they were very big. Portion are big very clean place and waiters are very friendly

I ordered a gyro and it is always excellent. They can sell out on weekends but it is random. Come early so you wont be disappointed

Visited the place on a Sunday evening , it wasn’t crowded , got the menus and water once referred to our table , the service was fast and friendly .The waiters know how to describe the items on the menu clearly .

Visiting Marathon on a recent trip to Montreal. Amazing souvlaki and gyro on pita. Best tzatziki ever! Greek salad, potatoes, rice. Kopanista with garlic toast to start. Excellent service, helpful staff, reasonable prices.

It’s been a while didn’t eat here, this place has something special.The food is always tasting amazing, so delicious.

Delicious food, specially the salad.
Protein quantity is small compared to salad or rice/potato.
Make sure to reserve if you plan to go on weekends, or you might wait in line for 5 to 10 minutes for a table to be free.

Awesome souvlakis. Great tzatziki sauce (perfectly garlicky), nice amount of tomatoes, freshly grilled meat in their souvlakis. Very reasonably priced.

The restaurant has two sides. One side is sit down with service. The other side is much smaller for take out, and counter seating (order at the counter).

The best ! Our prefered waitress is there , I forgot her name but the service is amazing! Food is delicious

Been coming here since 1993. Seen it through 2 renovations and the place still rocks. I come here for one thing only, the Donner plate. I don't even need a menu.
