BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir

Very peaceful place to be in even for just awhile.. especially for non Hindu people who doesn’t have a clue..(like me!)

Most of the history of this place, one will find on YouTube since it’s very difficult to explain in my simple language. I know for sure that the materials they used to build this Holy Temple were from Italy and some were carved in India. All were of high quality granite and the other parts/building are all meticulously carved fine woods. Oh, just so mesmerizing to look at. The Founder (in my mind) looked like a Holy man and also they have a statue of their Saint in the middle of the adjoining buildings. I took a picture even though I am almost aware of no picture inside the temple, but since the Saints statue was outside the temple, I hurriedly snapped one. Hope you guys like it too, I do! At a certain hour of the day, there was a service, first in my life to witness one so very solemn service.. I think it touched my heart and calmed my whole being almost close to shedding tears while listening and witnessing this awesome service..
Anyways, ample parking is available and the temple is also accessible by public transportation. Come and enjoy and give your mind and heart some source of breathing calmly and respectfully.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto is an epitome of divine beauty and spiritual tranquility. From the moment I entered the sacred grounds, I was immersed in a sense of profound serenity. It's a sanctuary of peace and enlightenment that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking spiritual nourishment.

We were visitors there today, and we felt appreciate that staffs were welcome us to visit this place at the gate and the entrance of the temple. Thank you. It was absolutely worth to visit this place if you live or visit to GTA. This place is super exotic; the decorations were so delicate. Wanna visit here again in summer when the fountain works.

I recently visited this Mandir for the first time and i was amazed by the architecture of it. It’s so huge actually and the atmosphere was so soothing and pleasant. Ample parking space and must recommended for everyone & also they have an amazing store as well. Do check that out as well.

Impressive place that magically makes you feel like you just flew hours to India. Well organized and informative. A true gem of Indian architecture/culture right smack in the middle of NJ.

The museum is a good one time visit.
Gets a bit disturbing when people or kids make noises in the temple as the sound echoes. But amazingly peaceful if you get to experience the quiet times.

This Hindu temple located in highway 427 near Pearson airport is unbelievable beautiful. The temple is made by white marble without any steel fixed structure. The whole temple is covered by carved pattern and status. It is a strong shock at first sight. While going inside, it is super clean and even more beautiful. But cameras and phones are not allowed.

Extremely organized and clean. Huge parking lot. The staff is so polite and humble. There is no photography allowed inside the temple. And they have a baby room (with toys) and a good variety of fresh food options at the cafeteria.
A definite visit. I will absolutely come again.

Absolutely elegant and enormous Swaminarayan Temple. Ample of free parking space. Ample of space to keep you shoes and hang your jackets.

This is must visit place for those who like visiting Hindu Temple. The Architecture and serenity is just hilarious ! The Temple feels so flamboyant and boost about the design and carvings on marble. You can offer your prayers to Lord Shiva, Lord Ram and Savaminarayan ji and sacred saints of the community. Peaceful environment for feeling the meditation vibes. Activities for children too.

At times our inner spirit demands some stillness of the mind and paramount peace. If you feel from within, in that search, this place will allow you to resonate with such principles. You will enjoy every breath and every sunset.

Amazing architectural design. Entry to the heritage museum requires a ticket, but it’s an excellent place to learn about India, Hindu people and their beliefs.

Well if you have even little bent towards spirituality, your visit to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan temple ls more than satisfying and rewarding ! I am a believer I was overwhelmed to visit this place for second time after 7 years ! One gets to feel that such a marvelous creation isn't possible without Divine Will and Intervention ! Excellent temple, serene ambience and a an artistic splendor 👌

This is a very pretty temple! It is very structured from the inside. The Hindu events for amazing and I am definitely looking forward to coming here on a holiday/festival!!

A must visit even you’re not religious, you’ll be amazed by the architecture, the carved stones were shipped from India and been put together over 10,000 pieces, each marble weigh a ton or more. Represent the different characters from the Indian culture, inside is much more magnificent but no photos allowed.
Walk into the temple and there’ll be guide give you more information on it.

Loved the cleanliness and maintenance of this temple. Beautiful interior work and exterior as well. Very well maintained garden. Their is a museum inside for a small fee. There is a book shop and some snack shop inside as well. We attended the evening aarti and was totally divine!!

An absolutely incredible Indian temple in the heart of Toronto. Once you step inside, you're transported far from the city's hustle and bustle - it's hard to believe you're still in Toronto. The interior design is breathtaking, with beautifully hand-carved wooden walls adding to the authentic ambiance. Although photography inside the temple isn't permitted, the memory of its beauty will stay with you. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike - I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Beautiful temple in the middle of the city. The vibes are so pure and calming. Just like you have when you visit any Birla Mandir in India. You could just spend hours sitting and meditating and feeling calm and good about the world!

They also have reasonably priced food and mandir/puja items for sale. Very good quality.

Peace of mind with beautiful positive ambience.
Every temple has its own impact and vibes. Peaceful place and positive vibes which can affect our inner soul. Those people who prefer to meditate then this place is really good for them. No noise, no one talk loudly and peaceful ambiance. Once you enter in this temple, you feel like you’re stepping your foot in heaven and all in all you feel positivity and peace. They also arrange celebration of every Hindu festival which gives one to enjoy blessings from god.

Very well managed. Clean. We love visiting this temple as it is serene. Parking is properly managed. Huge space for car parking.
