Local sustainable grocery; lack of competition makes prices salty but essentially a reflection of the reality on the food market!

Great little grocery store that has surprisingly many specialty items. Like sugar free ketchup, jams. Good selection of fresh produce , some bakery. And fresh flowers💐lovely stop.

I love this town grocery store. It is one of our favorite places to visit when out in the country. Schell's has an excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and their baked goods section features treats from local bakeries etc. They also have a good selection of health foods. The staff are friendly and the overall vibe is really nice and relaxing.

Updated review: Very glad to see that the new Schell's owners have decided to bring back some of our favourites to the store. I could always count on Schell's to have fresh meats for a last minute supper, fresh baking and the brands we really like. Well done!

Shell's Market is what a great neighbourhood grocery store should be. The shelves are stocked with a large selection of locally produced food and baked goods, a great meat counter, a warm food counter, hard to find items like sugar free ice cream, and someone clearly takes care of the fruits and vegetables with love. There's coffee available at the front cash, and even mini shopping carts for the little ones to help out. Prices are average, rising to higher end for the more interesting cuts of meat, yet it's a delight to be offered more interesting and treat-worthy options. Staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The store isn't huge, but it really has everything you need - it's small and mighty.

Shopping at Schell's is always a pleasant experience. The staff at Schell's market are always helpful and efficient and go out of their way to find something I want. They offer to carry my groceries out to the car for me if they are heavy. Schell's Market carries most everything I need and I am glad I don't have to make the drive into town.

We hired a local florist (Janus) from Schells Market in Bath because my daughter had a Mother's Day bouquet made for me from there and she loved the quality of the arrangement. Our daughter knew exactly what she wanted for her bridal bouquet and for her husband's boutonniere and Janus created beautiful arrangements that were perfect. I don't have a picture of just the bridal bouquet without my daughter attached to it but I have included a picture of the boutonniere which is gorgeous and looked so nice against a charcoal grey slim line suit. Janus was fabulous to work with and she stayed in regular contact with me to finetune details and to adjust the order as I kept adding other arrangements.

A wonderful asset for the Bath community, summer tourists and sailors. Wide selection includes a lot of "expat goodies" with Pan Cancho's bread on Fridays. Superb florist services also available, with cherished delivery service. Great place I am grateful to have in the Village.

A step into the past. Friendly service, plenty of selection, great pies & bakery items & a fresh meat counter. Costco it isn't, here you get what you order. A refreshing change from all the big box chains!

Don't miss this wonderful small grocery store if you are anywhere near Bath. Just like a walk into the past with fresh local produce but with all the conveniences of today. Their homemade soups and dishes are a must for the busy household.

Schell's Market is a great store. Employees are super friendly and very helpful. If you're ever in the village of Bath you need to come check them out . You won't be disappointed.

Love our village grocery store, never left empty handed, has a great selection of items and always adding more. One suggestion is, I'd like an itemized receipt given automatically.
