Had an amazing experience, for the past 3 nights having to go in. Amazing staff all around, and some of the best doctors I have had the pleasure to deal with, in my many years of hospital visits. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area, when needing emergency attention.

I find the staff in each and every department I have been through to be very friendly and kind-hearted. Emergency room wait times are seldom very long, in my experiences, which is a nice perk of it’s location being in a small town. A range of needs for myself and my family have been met through this facility and I am grateful that this hospital maintains the staff to continue to run a 24-hr emergency room. ❤‍🩹

Hospital needs some love...desperate need of upgrades...but that is out of the workers hands. Was seen last night for a hand injury. I personally think the receptionist was a sweetheart. Got seen by the triage nurse, who was so kind and friendly. Dr. Adams came to see me right away. I feel blessed as she was the most attentive and calm Doctors I have been with in while. All of the nurses were so wonderful. Thank you so much for the amazing care given last night! That staff should be regongnized for great attitudes and attentiveness.

I usually have a horrible experience at this hospital (that's the reason I didn't go 5 star). However, on this last occasion, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the treatment of our 3-year-old daughter. Although we did not end up getting the outcome that we had hoped for, Dr. Doiron gave us a reason to not totally distrust the medical system. He treated us with respect and even sat down with our daughter (who is autistic and was in a complete meltdown at the time) Unlike many doctors here he did not act as though my wife and I were ignorant and petty and actually managed to get the trust of our daughter who then was quite content for the rest of the visit. When we didn't end up getting what we needed from our daughter Dr. Doiron thoughtfully explained that he had hoped to better treat her and also explained why he believed that it wouldn't become an emergency and specifically what to look for to know if it was becoming one. This man is a credit to his profession. I'm shocked to find him in St. Stephen because he conducts himself so differently from many others there. Hospitals should be clamoring to get this type of professional on their teams.

The only reason I only give it 3 stars is because it takes hours to see a Dr most of the time do to only having one Dr running the whole hospital including the ER

Came in on a wheelchair from a back injury, been here 3 hours watched 4 people come out of er, friend or family of triage nurse came in for a toothache, didn't even have to come back to waiting room they got right in. Guess it's just a matter of who ya know, or who ya blow by the looks of it. I will be headed to SJ this afternoon. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE COVID

Worse experience ever! Sat in the waiting room for over 6+ hours as I watched the 3 people that went ahead of me leave hours ago… I’m not sure why it takes so long to bring the next person in…

The worst Doctor I have ever seen is here, I went in cause I was bit by a spider multiple time, I had bite marks all over me, the doctor refused to look at the bites, instead making up a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, would not listen to me at all, I have had my blood sugar checked after this a few times by a few different doctors and they are 100 percent fine. I wouldn't go here if i cut off my arm and was bleeding out

Okay so it's 3am. I have been suffering with a God awful flu. You know that achy bones sore throat burning ears hacking cough flue that has been around since last Thursday ish. You know the one. Where bucklys and tylonel and every over the counter medicine you throw at will not defeat it. So I wake up in a puddle of sweat roll outta bed and say man.... Get yourself to the emergency room. At least you can see a doctor and hopefully the line will be at most small. So I go in and I am greeted by the receptionist and she is nice sympathetic to a point and they rush me through. Im sick but happy cause like most of you who have been in emergency the worst thing is The wait to just see a doctor to get a prescription. So right away I am in trioge there and I get asked the normal questions and I answer them to the best of my ability I get my blood pressure taken. I am thinking great it's moving along well.... I'm the only one here. Than I am hit with the news. The doctor on nights on call who took a oath to see people can deem you not life or death and refuse to see you. The nurse however gives me a glimmer of hope. She can call her wake her up and perhaps out of some sheer mercy she will perform her job.... Though be it at night and see me. I asked if she would try and the nurse says well she doubts that she will make that effort. I made the effort to go see her at 3am. Anyway she says come back at 630and perhaps you can get in first. Well I am no idiot. By 5am that place will be crawling with every type of emergency and I will be put on a back list and sit all day in a uncomfortable chair waiting to see a doctor. When in fact at 3am this morning that place was so dead. What is happening to the compassion or humanity........ Anyway. The nurse was nice eneough to give me basically the same medication I was taking at home. I apologize as I am leaving for my tiny outrage and drive home sick. Thanks Charlotte County Hospital for your deep concern. We appreciate all you do for those of us who are sick and show up at your doors at 3am.

If you are unlucky enough to go to "emergency" you better pack a lunch, and be prepared to deal with the most unprofesstional professtionals you ever had the displeasure to meet. Always if I manage to sit it out, 50% of the patients waiting leave the "emergency", If you need to see a doctor under these conditions, call Fundy Heath Center in Blacks Harbour, there is a Doctor there two evenings a week. Done this many times, always on my way home in a hour. So in 2 hours, I'm home, even though I drove for an hour. CCH could learn from this, although I'm sure they won't. I always avoid this place, regardless of the issues. When you do get in to see a doctor, you realized you wasted a day, when you leave CCH, you're in worse shape than you were going in, and you realize what a waste of time this place is. I realize there is "not enough Doctors", but this is way to big a Hospital for one Doctor, really only a few rooms are needed, for service this bad. Downsizing is imminent. That's where this is heading. It's already happening, and so far, the only ones suffering are the patients. Keep paying folks, by sitting, waiting and allowing yourself to be neglected. Shape up, or shut down, CCH. Or shut down and shape up, more likely the case...Save a pile of money, scrap the old hospital, build small health center, it fits sevices provided. Only give you one star because you provided me with this space to speak my mind. Thanks for that.

Avoid this place at all costs..The worse excuse for a "hospital" on the planet..it's always a lesson in "incompetence" everytime they are involved. I had a 21 year old relitive bleed to death..getting his tonsils out..at this place.
