Chaudière Falls Park

Absolutely stunning! Took my breath away. This is a must see! Lots of stairs and steep climbs but definitely worth it. We will be back. I can't imagine how beautiful the fall colours will be with all the incredible beech, maple and oak among other hardwoods!

My wife and I decided to stop and check out the park and falls. It was a pleasant surprise. Good viewing areas and a easy walk down to the suspension bridge where you have a different view of the falls. You can even walk right down to the bottom of the falls. There were lots of people fishing and walking around on the rocks. It wasn’t crowded and it was a nice way to spend an hour or two.

I've been to Quebec City many times, and finally found myself at these beautiful waterfalls with a dam. Large walking area. Easy routes. Big parkin lot. Good markings for walking.

Before i have been there in the winter when due to the flow, the access to waterfall was not possible.
This time in the summer I had this opportunity to be in the closest point of the waterfall. That was amazing.

There is also suspension bridge that through it you can have access to both sides of the river with a nice view.

There is public toilet close to the parking where I found it very clean.

Visiting this hidden gem of a waterfalls park felt like stepping onto another planet. Unlike the more popular and crowded waterfall park, you know the name of it if you read this review, this location offered a unique and truly intimate experience that really surprised me. I was able to walk right up to the waterfalls, feeling the mist on my face and taking in the surreal landscape that surrounded the falls. The bottom of the falls, in particular, was a sight to behold and something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Though the cable bridge was a bit scary, the well-maintained trails added to the overall enjoyment of the hike. And the cherry on top? Free admission. This waterfalls park is an extraordinary place that offers a one-of-a-kind experience for nature lovers and a good alternative to the other more touristy spot.

3h drive from MTL. Was really worth the drive, it's an amazing waterfall to visit ! I visited it 2y ago too and water level seems to have gone up but the view and relaxation that comes with it has not changed ! (Here are extra sunset rainy pics on our way back !!)

Amazing place. We went around sunset time and it was so beautiful. No entry fees. Bathroom facilities are there. It's an easy trail and must visit place.

It was good! The view was normal but it was an exciting hike. There were many cute dogs and the parking was free!!

Magnificently beautiful falls. I visited this falls in the morning, so fresh and lovely area. There is a bridge with a length of 113 M that had a marvellous view of falls. Defiantly recommend to go downstairs near the waterfall which is stunning. You can see the layers of stone with different stratums.
Parking lot isn’t far from stairs and there are benches to get rest along the stairs.

Beautiful place to go anytime! During all seasons you will have a different and beautiful view. Excellent for picnicking, walking, and enjoying with friends and family. Also great place to practice meditation.

Tgis is a beautiful water fall to visit. Great atmosphere, cool suspension bridge, tons of walking trails and a canteen to buy snacks.

Beautiful location where you can walk to the bottom and look at the wonderful formations of the rocks and get wonderful views of the falls from the bottom. You can also cross the pedestrian bridge to get a great view.

Absolutely beautiful! A must see! Get out of the city and enjoy! Lots of hiking paths.

Nature's Beauty at its best.. different types of rock formations and nice trails and icing on the cake was Suspension bridge..

This is a beautiful place to visit. Note that the suspension bridge is currently closed (Sept. 2019) There are a number of stairs, if you want to go down to the water, which is definitely recommended! The waterfall is very pretty!Stunning fall colours this time of year. Free parking for 2 hours.

I have been visiting this waterfalls from quite a long time.

After my travels across Quebec and various different waterfalls, I can say this one is easily in top 5 ones in Quebec.

You park your car and take few stairs leading to a small hike to suspension bridge.

If you feel more adventurous, you can also go down below the falls , and enjoy the sound of water rushing through the rocks.

Highly recommended.

They also have washrooms, free air pump for bicycles , water fountains.

In summers they gave some food truck with ice cream, and Quebecois food.

Amazing park. Breathtaking views. We saw a marmot, chipmunks and squirrels there.

Beautiful spot to walk around and rest for a while after a long drive. During low tide you can walk along the rock bed and see the falls a little closer. There is also a bridge where you can take fantastic pictures of the falls and other surroundings. Be warned, there are a lot of stairs to climb if you want to reach the bottom.
