Causeway Bay Hotels Sparwood

I did not stay the night in Sparwood, I arrived at 5 a.m. I had breakfast and the restaurant opened at 7 a.m. The restaurant was very clean, the washer was four very well-kept and clean. I had an omelet, with sausage and the breakfast was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is very well staffed, service was very prompt. The waitresses were polite, prompt and professional. I was not left waiting for coffee refills. I was very happy with the restaurant with booths. I have a bad back so the padded Booth is very nice, and I prefer a sit-down meal as opposed to fast food. The ambiance and decor gives you that down-home feeling of comfortable surroundings. The price was well within the current range for breakfast these days, with coffee all in for $20 bucks. Breakfast was wonderful with more than enough coffee refills, I was all done and wrapped up in 30 minutes and back on the highway. I will definitely stop here again. Very pleasant waitresses.👍👍

We stayed for 1 night on New Years weekend for our sled trip. The rooms are spacious with lots of room to air out gear, nicely updated and clean. The restaurant was fantastic, some of the best food I’ve ever had. The prices for the rooms and the restaurant were priced quite fairly, especially the rooms on a holiday. Planning to stay again!

Outstanding experience here! I was on the road and needed the rest. Steak was one of the best I've had, hands down. Bed was VERY comfortable , slept like a log. Room was clean, windows that open (YES!) and staff were all friendly and helpful. Unbeatable value.

I am very impressed with the food, delicious comfort food. The server was so pleasant and sweet.

Stayed on the 3rd floor, I loved the jaquzi in the room it was very needed after such a rough day! The only thing is there isn't an elevator, so carrying many bags up the stairs is to be kept in mind. Other than that, it was awesome. Thank you

We called desperately needing a room for a late check in. The lady was super friendly. We checked in at midnight to 2 very friendly front desk ladies. The room eas also reasonably priced which was a nice change. The room was very clean, super comfy beds, and bathroom had lots of extras for things we forgot. Was a great place to stop will stay here again in future rather than the other hotel we stayed at previously.

Great check in/out. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean room, very comfortable beds, and reasonable price! We added in a cot for my son at the last minute for 10$ extra. Would certainly stay again!

Although its an older hotel, it is kept VERY clean and decently maintained. Front desk was fast, nice and helpful. The attached restaurant was above average and most of all, both places were affordable. We will be back!!

Great older hotel. Rooms have been updated and are kept clean. Staff are very responsive if there is an issue. Love the deep tubs and water pressure for the showers is heaven for someone from the city.

Restaurant is amazing. Never been disappointed. Try the lemon meringue pie. I've spent my life saying "this is good, but it's not mom's" and today I said it's the best slice I've ever had.

We were treated so well by the staff here and Joyce in the attached restaurant was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for a needed pit stop to rest !

A really nice place to stay.

Awesome staff and a great pub, enjoyed everything we ordered. Rooms spacious and clean, ask for the back/mountain side rooms as the front/highway side are very noisy with loud traffic, diesel trucks gunning at the intersection. Right next to Save On grocery, pharmacy, banks, fast food and BC Liquor. Books up fast and early for summer. Pet friendly rooms available as well as a spa service. Front desk were very helpful and accommodating. Fernie is 20 minutes away.

I only ate at the restaurant and never stayed but the server was great!!

We were unexpected guests of the Causeway Bay during a winter storm. From the first minute they made us feel welcome and cared for. Sheila, Donna and Em treated us like downs and family. While the town and restaurant were closed for Christmas, we did not go hungry.

The hotel and restaurant are lovely, and our room was beautiful and well cared for. I highly recommend staying here.

The reception desk person was especially help helpful and and friendly. The room was spacious and we'll kept. The amenities left nothing to want, and more just wish there more like this.

For the price (which was excellent), this place is really nice. My wife and I stayed one night. The room was clean and new. The free breakfast was decent. The staff was kind. We were on the back side of the building, which was very quiet. No complaints!

Restaurant has good food

Clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Location is great. Close to shopping and EV charging. Food at the restaurant is fantastic (I had chicken parm and it was perfect)

Food was a good portion and tasted great. Waitress came to the table several times asked if we needed anything. Very clean. Good experience. Oh, and I loved the onion rings.
