Riverside Park Campground

We stayed two nights, the campground was very clean and the park was a pretty little park with a walking path that was paved. There was a minor issue with our electrical box and the host fixed it within minutes. There were plenty of trash bins that were emptied in the morning. Whatever issues that people complained about in the past seem to be fixed.

Very nice place to stay. Can rent roller blades and borrow games. Right next to riverside park. Access to river there with nice playground for the children. Has wifi included with camping. Water and electric only.

Very nice facilities. Good hook-ups, no black or grey water hook up however. Very accessible dump station as you leave the RV park. Wi fi only outside the office - but easily accessed and quite quick. Nice walking trail along the river.

This campground is fairly new, great sites, nicely angled for more easy backing trailers into sites. Sites are large, have firepits. Only concern would be the WiFi is only available at the office site, so no streaming videos unless you have your own wifi hub.

I always stop here when traveling through Vanderhoof, BC. It's a perfect place to touch base with Nature...free wifi to check in. It's a glorious Bird sanctuary and has a nice trail along the Nechako River. Great for walking your dog or taking time to read a book. Has awesome picnic area, playground, large field for children to play...Camp & RV site, Out houses are well maintained. Close to the Hospital and Downtown Vanderhoof yet a very quiet spot. Lots of space, easy to get to conveniences, trails to walk by the river or a track if you'd prefer. A bird look out, and well groomed grounds. I'm a repeat visitor 🙂

Love this little park, great walking trail, equipment for the kids to play on, and volleyball nets in the summer. Also has a great look out over the river.

Fabulous except for figuring out how to book....but we succeeded. Great facilities and nature walk along the river.

Nice place to go for lunch break , by the river , very clean park , lots of birds , nice and peaceful , the tree stand look out , makes for a top view of the park and river , watch for stergion by the shore line , or see a eagel foring for fish , great spot ,

A nice park for the kids to run around. In the fall there are lots of migrating geese that fly overhead or stop to rest in the river shoals.

Beautiful place. I visit it often. A beautiful park for walking your pets at the same time as getting fit!!

Drove through to see how many are available & where is a great one's at, they are all walking distance to down town
