We have been camping in Alberta for many years and for whatever reason we have not gone to Cross Lake previously. I must confess that I was very surprised at how we could have missed such a beautiful camping spot for so many years.

We went during the week in August so it was not very busy at all. Stayed in a pull through sight and it was extremely spacious. More room than we needed, but nice to have the extra space. The sites were very well kept and there were attendants driving around very frequently maintaining all aspects of the park. The shower and flush toilets were extremely clean and well maintained. As were all of the non-flush toilets that we encountered. There are a variety of trails and they are well kept. Lawns and open areas are mowed and well maintained. There are a lot of picnics sites and group activity areas. Beach was in good shape and fairly spacious, however because of algae, could not go into the water. There are two playgrounds that are a decent size that our granddaughter enjoyed. We were there for 4 days with a younger child and had no problems keeping her occupied.

Truly a gem that we will be back to many times.

This was our first time camping at Cross Lake Provincial Park and we loved it! We stayed at site #15 a pull through and had a beautiful view of the lake across the road. The campground was clean and quiet. Brought our Kayaks and enjoyed some time on the water. Would definitely recommend this! We will be back next year.

Great campground for the family. The lake is large, with a lot of great fishing and boating space. Plenty of trails and playgrounds to keep occupied. The sites are spaced out well for the most part, and it was fun just walking around the campground!

Wonderful place to camp! Playgrounds, sandy beach, paved trails, great fishing. There are accessible sites, and there are some attempts at accessibility within the park ie; accessible picnic tables, a bench in the shower (though a seated user cannot use the button independently once seated), paved access to the outhouses and grab bars (though I could not open the heavy door once inside independently), ramp at the shop. There's a cute store with great staff and awesome icecream. Wood for purchase. Very impressed! Wish they had an accessible beach mat for wheelchair users! - Mom that uses a wheelchair fulltime =)

Great Campground. Some of the trails are kind of creepy though, but made the experience even more fun. Very quiet and peaceful. The trails are great for biking. Recommended for anyone who bird watches.

Wow. Unexpected. Beautiful sites, capable of accommodating units larger than advertised. Many of the sites provide privacy. Nice clean washrooms, the whole campground is well maintained. Nice playgrounds for the kids. Only faults, power seems low, had to put fridge and water heater on propane to use a/c.

We just got back from a weekend trip what a great place certain areas are move private than others as expected! But he staff was great the beach was awesome! They had parks and beautiful trails! Cell service if you need it isn’t bad, there are certain sites that are dead zones but I had no issues at Site 14!

It was nice size. Quiet during the week lots of trees. Walking through the campground on the paths felt like you were right in the bush.

Campsites are maintained well. Power in stalls. Staff was friendly and great fishing. There's a boat launch as well. Firewood is well priced at 10 a bundle. They have free showers for campers.

A great provincial campsite within 2 hours of Edmonton! Free showers a small store with decent ice cream are a great addition to the already great setting. Private campsites, a good boat launch and great fishing are the real reasons we will be going back!

Peaceful and quiet even when the campground was full. No cell signal in the campground whih was refreshing! One bar of signal at the beach. Great scooped ice cream from park ranger station. Overall, great. Will be going back!

I love the walking trails and the spruce trees all around. Don't forget to try the ice cream. We were also able to see deer, a black bear (be careful) a moose and Skunk (from the car. My son and I had an amazing time with my parents.
