I stay in a lot of hotels. I don’t write reviews. Mathew, the night audit guy, is a really good worker for your hotel. Super nice and friendly and accommodating. He stands out from all the 100s of other hotels I’ve stayed - in a good way.

As for the hotel. It’s nice, clean, decent breakfast, nice pool, nice bbq.

Fantastic stay. Impeccable service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a friendly staff that goes above and beyond. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was convenient. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness and safety measures was evident. A memorable experience – I highly recommend it!

We were in Lloydminster during a storm weekend. The staff were very thoughtful and accommodating with a late check out as we assessed the conditions and waited for roads to open. Room was clean and modern. Easy to access. Recommend!

I’m a Wyndham Rewards Diamond member and I always book my stays when I’m working through their app as it’s convenient and the cheapest prices. I’ve stayed in many Microtel hotels in different locations, yet when I arrived at the location in Lloydminster I was blown away. Attached to the lobby is a lounge that served beer, wine and spirits etc. Apparently this hotel was recently renovated with a “test lounge” and as a regular traveller in the oilfield, I can say how lovely it is to be able to have a drink and some food without leaving the hotel. AMAZING! As a rewards Diamond member you are supposed to be offered a complimentary check in bag usually consisting of a snack and a bottle of water. This location did just that. The reason I mention this is that not all Wyndham hotels seem to do that. “I’m looking at you Abbotsford Ramada!”

The staff at check in was super pleasant, but the staff member who blew me away was the amazing bartender Ashley. My wife and I sat at the bar and even though she was busy and helping other guests, she chatted with us for hours. She put on the hockey game and even put the hockey audio on instead of the music as she noticed her customers were watching.

My wife and I really learned alot about the local area as well as getting to know her. It’s so nice to be able to travel and to get to know new people.

As an addition bonus, this hotel has a licensed outdoor patio with BBQ’s that customers can use. They will sell you a BBQ kit with a steak, potato and salad that you then grill yourself to your liking at a very reasonable price.

The morning daily free breakfast was delicious as well. They even have fruit smoothie options.

There is a pool and a gym. It is pet friendly for an extra charge, and when you factor in how close it is to the Cenovus (formerly Husky) upgrader, this hotel is an absolute win! I wouldn’t even consider another hotel unless this one was already booked solid.

I have to work in Lloydminster for a couple of months soon and I intend to book here.

The only downside is that when I look online, I only see rooms with Queen beds. That’s fine for working singles, but the wife and I enjoy a bit of extra room. ;)

As a truck driver, it was great . I had parking, nice room . A lounge and good food on site. Real free breakfast. Just off the highway. Worth the stop. Amenities nearby.

The staff were really friendly. Everything was clean. Nice rooms. Overall a really enjoyable experience

Absolutely adore this hotel. As some one who travels lots for work this is the one hotel I can continually count on for positive stays, happy interactions with staff, and very clean rooms!

Our room was nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was pleasant. The one that sticks out the most was Shany. She had a great personality and made us laugh. She was also very accommodating. I will definitely be back and will share with my friends how nice this hotel was.

The staff and room were great. The bar/lounge was great when available to everyone, unfortunately, someone booked an event that took away the option to sit inside for an after work meal at the lounge. Options were outside or in your room. Personally, I enjoyed sitting in the lounge with other patrons.
Other than the lounge situation my stay was great.

Great hotel! We stayed for Provincials for our daughters baseball and it was great! Awesome location to the diamonds across the road. Easy to get to other amenities and areas. Room was clean, breakfast was great and the pool area was clean and fun! Great staff too!

Great night stay! Quiet with comfortable beds. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly and clean. I enjoy staying with Microtel. Didn’t have time to enjoy the pool. Maybe next time

Had the queen bed sofa pull out room. Room was clean and large, bed and pillows super comfy. Room is definitely big enough for 2 adults, 2 kids on the pullout bed and a foamy or air mattress on the floor for another kid or two if needed. Kids loved the pool and water slide. Breakfast options somewhat limited but better than most places still.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The back yard BBQ area was wonderful to utilize for our team party. The pool was a large area where our teen age team had a ton of fun for hours on end.

Room was comfortable, but really tight. No extra room! Only had a bedside table on one side, because the tiny closet was on the other side. Breakfast was good.

I booked here last minute for a business trip. When I arrived I was upgraded to a business suite and was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and the staff were helpful, especially Shanny, who helped make the trip a success. I'll definitely stay here again.

This hotel could not have been any better. The accommodation were exceptionally clean, the breakfast was incredible and included! The bar was lovely super friendly staff. I was blown away that they provided me flowers and a card as I was there for the passing of my grandmother. So thoughtful and kind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for one night July 2022. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Pool was enjoyable. Staff was helpful. I believe it was Amy at the front desk who patiently helped me with my laundry needs...detergent, Bounce sheets, coins. I believe it was Dana (just got married a few days previously) who was so much fun and with whom I shared many jokes about marriage proposals. etc.

Perfect place to stay the night. Very clean, friendly staff. Beds were comfy pillows To. The pool area was also very clean. We will stay again.

Clean with great staff and a very good breakfast. The breaky could have a bit more variety like a pancake machine but overall one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel. The exercise room is excellent and kept clean and well stocked with towels. It would be nice to get a couple of fans in there though. Overall though a great place to stay. Regarding location; it's on the east side of Lloyd which is perfect for me but if your business is on the Alberta side you may want something closer.

Excellent hotel. Beds are comfy and clean. The pool and waterside area is very clean and well stocked with towels. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a hotel!! Highly recommended. They have since opened a small lounge that opens after 5pm, and has a small snack menu....the wings were awesome!
