Camping du Lac Echo

Beautiful lake with a nice, long beach that allows people to spread out. The beach and lake are sandy with no weeds. The water is calm with no waves, and it is surrounded by beautiful hills and trees. The campsites are all generous sizes (our "small" sites for "3 or less people" could easily have accommodated 6 people with multiple tents) and they are all close to flush toilets (the only outhouses with vault toilets we saw were at the beach). There is easy access with multiple trails leading down to the beach. They are steep however, so some people may prefer or need drive and park at the beach, as the campground itself is significantly higher than the beach level. We loved how clean this park was, and there was good signage within the campground to find our way to the beach.
One very important thing to note is that there is a 12 km bumpy gravel/dirt road to get to the campground. One of our group was driving a BMW and was not thrilled about the possible damage to the car. If you are concerned about your paint or axel, it might be a nerve-wracking 15 minutes of driving. There was a thick layer of dirt/dust on our van when we arrived. Don't bring an expensive car on this trip.
Overall, we loved it here and would absolutely return!

Ça fait des années qu'on y vient ! Toujours aussi agréable! L'accueil est formidable, la propreté des lieux parfaite, le lac Écho est sublime !

Une de nos destinations de camping préférée. Le site C12 est pittoresque, près du lac Taku. Lieu calme qui accepte les chiens.

Parfait compromis entre chalet et camping rustique. Très pratique pour les courts séjours. Belle intimité, accès direct à la plage. Tout est fournit:assiettes, verres à vin, ustensile, casseroles et poêles en fonte. Une lampe à led très brillante. Un frigo, un poêle au propane. Lits grands et confortables. Nous avions le c3.

Beau lac! Aidez-nous à le conserver. Les sites pour tentes sont de taille et de qualité adéquate mais certains mieux que d'autres.

Très bel emplacement propre pour une vacance paisible en pleine nature. Le lac est wow.

Beau site tranquille. Très éloigné et route secondaires pour y accéder, loin dans la forêt, personnel amical.
