Such a beautiful walk. There is a more direct trail to get up to the firetower and a longer, more meandering one. Pay attention tot the trail markers as sometimes there is an intersecting trail and it isn’t always obvious which one you should be following. It’s about 5-6 km walk. It’s not great for beginners. Not impossible but it is an uphill trail to the firetower so it helps if you are in good shape to take the trail. You can also park at the top and walk a short distance to the tower, but what is the fun in that? That is a great option for those with young kids or mobility problems. We met a family with a 2 year old who walked the whole way. It can be done with patience.

Beautiful what they did with the old fire tower. They also added picnic tables since I was last there a year ago. And the view is unreal. Just Beautiful country. Green as far as your eyes can see.

The view from the top.of the tower is amazing. If you decide to take trail 1 (30 min) it is an intense walk. It is mirror a road then a trail. There us nothing really to see when waking. Recommend if time is short, drive to the top. It is definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend.

Beautiful is the word comes to mind. Quite steep slops for my CVT car but worth the drive. 360 degree every you look is a beauty of nature. The trees, lake and mountains take your breath away.

We went for a really nice hike in the snow up to the lookout tower... what a beautiful view!

It's about an hour and a half to two hours drive from Ottawa but totally worth it, bring the family for a hike or drive up and visit the lookout.

Phantastic location, very relaxing, not many tourists, you can enjoy on your own time without getting pushed around.

Our family visits regularly, we love to bring visitors here. The view from the fire tower is amazing as is the view from the balcony, only a short walk away, where there is also a small welcome cabin with a wood stove.

Just a fabulous place to visit. Blue Sea Lake is so clean, you can see at least 20 feet down, highly recommend!

Great place to take your family for a breathtaking view of the province of Quebec

A great outdoor experience! The trails are well marked, with several maps posted around the trail loops. There are several options for lengthening or shortening your experience, including the option of driving directly to the top to enjoy the views from the lookout tower. Beautiful views - especially in the fall!

Wonderful hike on trail one that had incredibly beautiful views at the lookout! Trail winds through some interesting wilderness areas, past a beaver pond, and incredible diversity of bird and plant life :)
