Stunning beauty in the winter with parts of the falls frozen over. There's also a cable car service you can pay for to ride and view the falls from above, though it didn't seem like the cars get closer than where you can walk to on the ground. The site costs a little bit to enter (around $6 per person + a small vehicle parking fee)

Very serene and picturesque. I can only imagine the beauty of it in summers if this looks so beautiful in the winters. The fall was almost frozen though still a bit of waterfall one could see. Cable cars are needed to go up where one could walk the suspension bridge to see the waterfall right below. The manor montmorency is also nice.

Take the cable car for the way back as well. The '487' staircase is closed during the winters but it would be one muscular task to ascend during the summers. Definitely keep extra pair of clothing when using the staircase because the sheer force of the fall would drench you.
The visitor center is cozy and comfortable. It has cafeteria inside along with a small gift shop for souvenirs.
On and all very nice place to visit.

Having visited Montmorency Falls, I was awestruck by the cascading water. The trails and viewpoints offered a serene escape, and the suspension bridge provided nice views. A must-visit for anyone seeking nature's beauty up close.

Beautiful scenery. Beware of the stairs if you aren't particularly active/fit else be prepared to take many breaks. Also recommend to wear a jacket or layer as some parts get very misty from the falls. Worth the full walk around at the bottom to get some great photos of the falls

What a beautiful place. We went there on the weekday, but still a lot of tourists there. We took the cable car to the top. And so please that they have limited the people go into each car instead jamming the car. After we got to the top. Wow, it is so pretty .You can choose to do a short hiking trail or bring lunch to enjoy in the park. You can see the fall go down and float into St Lawrence River. Also, they have zipline, unfortunately it is closed on that day. We walked around and took plenty of pictures. They also have built the 487 steps that tourists can walk up or down along the fall. So,in the end, we choose to walk down. The steps have short rises and have landing about every 15 steps .My mother is 80 years old and able to walk with us. Hope we will have a chance to go back in different seasons next time.

Wonderful visit! Took the 800 bus from downtown and had a lovely walk around. Stairs are worth the trip up and down. Good picnic areas. Great little boutique shop if you’re looking for souvenirs.

Beautiful waterfalls just 15 minutes drive from Quebec city.
It's totally worth the visit.
Took the cable to go up but came down the 487 steps on the other side. Perfect way to see the whole thing.

Beautiful views, even in the Winter. It’s super cool that you can walk over the falls on the bridge. If you’re brave enough, you could even walk down to stand in front of the falls!

Had a great visit to the falls. We rode the 800 bus from old Quebec city, and it dropped you off right near the entrance. The falls are very nice they have nice trails to walk across the suspension bridge and to the stairs where you can climb down to the bottom. Lot of lookout points for photos. There are washrooms available to use. It's definitely worth a visit

Beautiful falls and several vantage points above, beside and below falls. Winter time was beautiful with the snow and ice. Area is pet friendly and lots of hiking trails.

Had a blast with family at the Montmorency Falls.

The view is gorgeous during winter so I won't be surprised if it is better during summer.

The cable car was worth it, although pricy. Do it alteast once in your lifetime.

It's really awesome. We should keep at least half day to spend. Zipline across the fall is a must and thrilling experience.

It was absolutely beautiful!!! We took the 800 public bus. We don't speak French, so we had a little difficulty figuring out the bus schedule! There is a nice gift shop and washroom at the visitor center at the top of the falls and a small gift shop/cafe and washroom at the bottom.

Nice waterfall with a telecabin and beautiful view of Orleans island and it's bridge
It's beautiful in summer and winter, in summer, you can profit from a zipline and different viewpoints for photography.
There is also a playground area for children and a picnic area plus a gift shop.
There are two entrance, the one at the lower level is only to take the cabin, you can walk to the fall but not so close.
There is a small entry fee in summer busy days but it's not that much. Less than 20 dollars for a car full of passengers.
There could be some food trucks in summer.

It snowed the day before, and we went early. A magical place, we enjoyed it very much. Especially a walk along the river upstream. Go early, later it get's pretty crowded

Beautiful falls, worth checking out. We didn't do the gondola. Instead we paid for parking and admission, crossed the bridge, went back to parking and went to the other side to see the falls. We did this because we did not want to go on the stairs.

We went in the around 11 on a Friday and it was very busy. No wait to get in. There's a snack bar near the falls, I didn't try it.

Had a lovely afternoon looking around. Everything was closed but you can still access the bridge and walk the board walk. Worth the trip.

Beautiful, clean place. Adult tickets cost $8-9, and given that we climbed the stairs (rather than cable car), there were no additional fees. The bridge itself is crowded with tourists, but the view from below and above is already breathtaking.

The park requires a small fee ($8.70 per adult) to enter. To get the full experience, you can either take a cable car to the top of the falls (for an extra fee) or walk up the stairs (no extra fee). The stairs are steep. I'm relatively young and am in good shape and it took A LOT of effort to get to the top. Once you're there, there are numerous lookout spots where you can view the falls. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it.

At 83 m (272.3') high, a full 30 m (98.4') taller than Niagara Falls, the Montmorency Falls are as spectacular a sight in the summer as in the winter.
They are located in a park of the same name only 15 minutes from Old Québec. This is one destination you will not want to miss, as it is where the St. Lawrence River stretches out not far from the base of the cliffs.

During your visit, you get to choose between wonder and adventure. Take a cable car to the top of the cliff to admire the falls from a unique vantage point. The view is breathtaking, even in the winter! Cross the suspended bridge to the belvedere, where you can feel the power of the river as it thunders past.

For the daredevil in you, follow one of the three via ferrata routes up the cliff, or zoom over the plunge pool on the double zipline 300 m (984') in the air.

You can also learn about the site's fascinating history at the interpretation centre. In the summer, you can have a picnic at the historical orchard and test your endurance by climbing the 487 steps of the panoramic staircase. Tourists with a fine palate will appreciate one of the best brunches in the region, served at the Montmorency Manor.
