Steep Rock Beach Park

I love tenting here! The beach is the best around in my opinion. I love coming here and relaxing. We like to be very simple and low key when we tent. I get the same slot every year and it is perfect. The bathrooms are also great!

Steep Rock Beach is one of the best Beach in Manitoba my favorite along with riding mountain beach. The water is shallow and sand beach safe for kids. There is entry fee to enter the beach area but totally worth it the water is nice an blue unlike other muddy water beach. There are limited change rooms and washroom. There is a kids play area and Kids will have amazing time. Its quite a bit of drive from Winnipeg bit totally worth it. Follow for more.

Beautiful sunset, cliffs, and clean beach. We tented 2 nights at the group campsite. My kid loves the beach. Fireworks on Aug long weekend and free bouncy castles for kids.

Great place to take the kids! Clean and spacious camping sites! Quiet at night. Beach is also great! Highly recommended! Will go again!

We had an excellent time! The water was clear and the temperature was not to bad. Our campsite, washrooms and the grounds were clean and well maintained. The guests and park staff were all very nice! Great biking around the campground and to the town of Steep Rock it was about a 4km ride. The playgrounds were challenging for our 5 year old she had a blast, I would recommend adult supervision. Quite a few fish flies but it is the season. Overall It is great, I would recommend this campground to friends and family!

Best beach in Manitoba! Only 2.5 or 3 hours from Winnipeg. Nice sand bottom and no seaweed, ITS WONDERFUL. There is a boat dock on the other side thats handy too......This place has lots of family cabins....Most have been in the family so long, they get passed down. Its a respected property!
MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!!!!!! Its a perfect spot until people start being sloppy! About 20 k from hwy 6!

Steep Rock is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a hike and a picnic. It's usually cold and windy when we come here so we've never actually tried swimming in the lake. Lol

Nice beach, but the main attraction are the low limestone cliffs at the edge of the lake. Well worth a visit. Trails along the cliffs provide several different views of the lake and shore.

Steep rock was the most beautiful place I have seen in ages! I will have trouble not reminiscing this place while camping anywhere else. The staff, and service was exemplary, and were so available to help with any little thing that came up.

Darlene and Allan, who run this park, spend hours and hours 7 days a week making sure everything runs smoothly and all guests are happy! They're amazing! We Can't wait to return!

Awesome camp ground. Very friendly staff. Campground was very busy but they did their very best to keep everything clean and neat. New shower building wasn’t going yet but old showers were good enough for us. Cell service only in certain spots which was good for getting away highly recommended for family vacations

Nice campground came here like 2 times first time i got so so so so so sunburnt i was so red i almost didn't come back but im glad I did because i slept ok except for the fact there was a massive storm one night and i slept in the van in fear of my life. Good times to be had by all.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to go Steep Rock is the spot. The cliffs are a great place to walk around.

This has to be the best Municipality run village and campground in the province. Houses and cottages on their own plots with some of them for seasonal rent. Services for the lakeside community are varied if a little sparse. Personal transport is a must and golf carts and ATVs are popular for local travel. Go there for the beaches and the beautiful lake views. Bring your children and your floating craft, with a picnic and a will to enjoy a real gem of a beach location.

This amazing Manitoba Secret! I never heard of Steep rock mb until last year when my hunting buddy showed me pictures. Instantly know I had to take a trip. This place is incredible. Friendly helpful locals lots of amazing fishing and swimming and hiking and camping. Boat rentals and a great atmosphere and great views. Clean clear water and great fishing. I'll be back for sure!

The water is clear and reflects with kind of light blue or light green. It's well organized and good facilities. Beach has spread widely and many activities can be experienced here.

On of the best beach with white stone and sand. There is a 13$ entry fee to enter this beach. If your are hungry there is a small fast food shop just beside the beach. You can get burgers and fries there.

The beach park has a very nice view, the water looks so blue from a far distance. Amazing experience, the only downside is that there's not that much sign where to actually go if you're not familiar with the place.

The entrance fee is affordable. Clean wash rooms and renovated shower rooms. The color of the water in the beach is pretty, clear and cold.

very big nice beach, easy to go and find holes, food trucks honey selling and there was a parrot there at this time. Very nice for a family or just for you :)
