Beef Noodle Restaurant

I am sad to find that this place is closing after 30 years in business upon my first visit.

As the name's suggest, their thing is their beef noodle, and the beef noodle certainly blew my socks off. The broth was so rich and packed full of flavours, the beef both succulent and tender. I am happy to have just 2 bowls of this and call that a meal!

The sliced pork with garlic sauce 蒜泥白肉 has a nice spicy kick but the pork was too thin and there wasnt enough garlic.

The Taiwanese braised pork 台灣滷肉 was nice, soft... I only wish it was a little warmer but it was great to be accompanied with a little rice. When the lady came back to check on the food, I told them that we'd have liked it a little warmer. Seeing that we've eaten already already, she was like "Oh I wish you've told me sooner!"

She and her staff are so nice and friendly they did come back to chat with us often.

It will be such a lost for Toronto to lose this awesome beef noodle place. If there's one thing you eat from this place, dont miss out on the beef noodles.

If you're going to name your restaurant "Beef Noodle Restaurant" you better be making really good beef noodle soup and this place does. Tender beef brisket, flavourful, spicy broth, and perfect noodles. It has become one of my regular go to spots.

I was here with my grandparents for the first time and it was a very good experience. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very quiet and ambient. The food I ordered came a bit quick, and it was very delicious. The noodle soup I ordered had the perfect amount of spice and the noodles were perfect. Definitely coming back.

2nd time coming here. Always quick and polite service. They were very accommodating with us and our 2 young kids.

Food had good flavour and came out relatively quickly. Everything was reasonably priced.

Usually get sweet and sour chicken for my son and this was the best. Very light and crispy.

Hot and sour soup was on par.

House fried rice was better than expected (not dry and hard).

Kung Pao chicken was tender and well flavoured.

Will be returning again.

Been going to this place for around 20 years. It is still here for a reason. Best spicy beef noodle in the GTA. For all those complaining about the price, you get what you pay for. The beef they use is excellent and always tender. Broth is very flavourful and the udon/Shanghai noodle is done to perfection. This is not a hit or miss place, they are very consistent. Never had a bad experience and friendly service to top it off.

Been coming here religiously on those fall/winter cold days/nights and can’t get enough of their famous beef noodle soup to warm me up. Good portions and always hearty. Interiors is a little dated but it’s definitely a gem to find so don’t miss out on the beef noodle soup.

I have been coming here for years now, the food as always been consistent and affordable. The beef noodle is a must, and as a tip the noodles can be customized based on thickness. My preference is the thin noodles. The beef tripe with their hot sauce mixed in vinegar is also a must, don’t knock it until you try it.

Sad to hear they are closing soon. Always good and wish this legend of a store best of all fortune in the future.

This is one of our "go to spots"! Always on point, very flavorful dishes and really good cold lemon tea! Restaurant owner and staff are super friendly as well. I'm going to miss this place as they're closing at the end of March 2024.

So I love Soup! There shaighi wonton soup is excellent. Tge soup base is homemade. Every time we go tge food is taste, hot and nice portions. And tgis latest time I dropped $20 on the floor the server chased us down to return it.

This restaurant is the gold standard when it comes to beef noodles. Have been coming here for decades and the flavor and service has been consistently amazing. Even though I'm far out of town now, we always stop by whenever passing this area.

This is arguably the best place for Taiwanese Beef Noodles in Scarborough and Toronto proper. I have been in Toronto for more than 40 years and have tried beef noodles all over town. Hands down their beef noodles top them all. Their beef noodles made with AAA grade beef and with generous portion as well.

I had the braised beef soup with brown sauce and green onion pancake. It very flavourful, the beef is soft, broth has some spice and the noodles are like upon noodles. The serving size looks small but just enough to fill you up. The onion pancake was nice and crispy on the outside with a mild onion flavor. I would recommend this restaurant and will be back.

This place been here forever (well more 20 plus years for sure.) They make their own noodles, they have their own secret recipe for the beef soup (which btw you can order on its own😊). Delicious soup paired with side dishes like fish cakes, pot stickers, it's comforting food for me❤

Same old Auntie is still there, and they are taking covid19 precautions👍 Do visit them when you get a chance!

Delicious noodles! I recently tried this place for the first time, and ordered the braised beef noodles and a variation of cold noodles as well. Both were absolutely delicious and I will be back!

Beef Noodles are made traditional Taiwanese style. Affordable pricing for their portions. Pork scrolls were also tasty. Great spot for a casual lunch or dinner.
