À Chacun son Pain

It was a brisk afternoon, weary from a long journey I sought shelter and warmth, however, upon realising I was a tad peckish the fateful search to acquire a tasty bite commenced. It was here, in the establishment of à chacun son pain that I stumbled upon the infamous tourtière. Allow me a moment to describe the stupendous textures and flavours that delighted the pallet. Met by a crispy pastry, glistening in egg wash that gave way to soft buttery flavour of caramel and roasted malt, one begins to notice the aromas of beef and roasted vegetables, working in perfect harmony with textures of soft potato and mellow beef melting in the mouth. Allied in flavour the chopped salad provides a body and sharpness from the vinaigarette that cuts through the rich pastry proving a culinary experience one won’t forget in a jiffy. Paired with a pudding of one’s choice and a cold beverage this is the perfect spot to alleviate one’s hunger and receive excellent food and service. Merci beaucoup.

After a long day on the road, we arrived at ‘À Chacun’…

I’m not sure how ‘A Chacun’ translates to the English language, but if I were to hazard a guess, I would say “great food and good times”. So. Did Chacon live up to it’s name? Very much so. “Beaucoup oui”.

The Tortierre was crunchy yet soft. The steak cubes punchy, yet restrained. The salad fresh, yet mature. The 7up sweet and tangy.

My insides are full of both meat and joy. Thank you Chacun. Merci.

La Miche Multigrain de Charlevoix biologique est absolument délicieuse, surtout rôtie. On ne peut plus s'en passer. Une chance qu'elle est disponible chez notre IGA local et à un prix raisonnable.

Nous avons choisi ce restaurant ( Galerie de la Capitale ) Pour notre journée du Club Social au Méga Parc. Nous avons reçu plusieurs bons commentaires sur la qualité et le goût de ce qui avait dans notre "Boite à lunch". Un endroit qui vaut le détour ! Il sera considéré pour notre prochaine activité en 2023 !

Lunch abordable & délicieux, en plus, le café une vrai réconfort, et j’ai même pas encore parler de la « qualité » du pain qui est exceptionnelle!
