Amazing food! Also vegetarian 😍Beautiful female live music. With a view on the beach. You have to pay extra to use or even sit next to the pool 🙄 besides that, great place!

One of the best restaurant in Maracaipe beach . I've been here 9 years ago . Lovely location . We had a completely relaxing time . Customer service wonderful . The waitress doesnt look miserable. They are so pleased to make you have a good time . Food excellent, fresh flavour . Fresh fish by the sea of course.

An incredible restaurant with wonderfully kind and trained service. We experienced the Pastel do João with “carne seca and cheese that was perfectly crisp outside and juicy meat inside. Next, we had “moqueca mista” with fish and shrimp. Oh-lala! It comes accompanied of fluffy rice, “Pirão” and “Farofa”. What made the moqueca lick your fingers delish was that it was fresh and absolutely perfectly seasoned. For dessert we indulged in “pudim de paçoca” and “Delícia Pernambucana”. The first was smooth and a perfect peanut flavor for this delicacy. The second was a major party of my taste buds. You must try to save space in your tummy for desserts there. Everything we tried was portioned just right for our party of two.
The restrooms were spotless. Ohhhh the live music. I couldn’t keep my feet still and I am certain I was dancing to the flavors, textures and scents. Lastly, the restaurant is ocean front and there is a pool for patrons with lounge chairs and hammocks.
Ohhh I wish I could have a João Restaurant where I live. Much gratefulness to owners Adalto and team. Wonderful hospitality and I can’t wait to go back.

The most lovely relaxing location right by the beach. Great owner! Try the shrimp in a pineapple and of course the chocolate and cheese dessert. Looking forward to going back

Good service by Gustavo and live music at the restaurant, the fish dish and caipirinha’s were both very delicious. We will be back.

Great place! Diego was our waiter, he was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, clean pool, easy parking, fair price. I would go back!

Came back 3 years later and it's still amazing. The moqueca, pineapple shrimps, fried fish... Everything truly amazing. And the people working there are the loveliest ever.

Great view, right next to the coast. You can watch all the surfers. Food and drinks are the best. Try one of the Caipirinha de Fruta! The service was very friendly and we even had live music.

We had lunch at Joao Restaurante, and they deserve every star! Our server Diego was amazing, very aware and helpfull !! 10/10 would come back !
