Wow, what a wonderful experience and a must-do! To see one of the 7 wonders of the world is incredibly humbling. From the bus, get off on the 2nd stop to walk on the trail and see several falls before the big ones. Bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent!

Easily this is one of the most impressive natural areas I've ever been to! You'll be blown away by the beauty of the falls, but also the wildlife, rainfoe, and rainbows you're sure to see.

The Argentina side is better for spending a day. There are tons of trails, restaurants, and amenities. The trails take you into a great view just above the falls and on a lower walkway where you get a great view from the front. A public bus reaches the main entrance but you have to pay cash for the bus. You them walk to the falls, or the park train can take you slightly closer. Plan 4-5 hours there. The Brazilian side has a park hosted shuttle bus that takes you from the entrance to the falls. You'll be put almost directly in the biggest waterfall! Water WILL spray you walking near them. The falls will be so close to you that you'll feel like you can touch them! Plan only 3 hours or so on that side.

Both sides offer snacks, souvenirs, and cheap water bottles. Restrooms are also available for free. You can't possibly have a bad time here!

The Iguazu Falls trip was truly amazing and fascinating. Words can hardly describe its magnificence; it’s a site that transcends human ratings. A must-see in a lifetime.

There's a reason it's a world wonder. All three reason you need. Recommend buying tickets in advance. Bring lots of water, bug spray, and sunscreen. There are multiple shops where you'll be able to buy these items. Parking can be challenging. Recommend taking shuttle.

It’s very amazing, I was there in march, it was very hot, you need water. The lines to get the bus is super long. Visiting Iguaçu falls needs half a day or more. I was there in Friday but it was toooo much crowded.

By far the best place I visited in Argentina. No need to buy the ticket in advance regardless of the stuff you read online. You can buy on the day without a problem sonic the weather doesn't suit do it another day. Wear sensible footwear because it can be slippery. Devil's Throat closed off December 2023 ongoing but you see that part, just from a different angle, a different place. The little train runs only a short way but is still available and enjoyable.

I recently revisited the Iguazu Fall, 40 years later. What a trip! The Fall became national park and really gas changed much. Nice trails to walk all the way down to the side of the fall, feeling the power of the nature…. Must visit place if you travel to Brazil or Argentina!

Visiting Iguazú Falls is an experience of a lifetime, where nature's majesty is on full display. The sheer power and beauty of these falls, straddling Argentina and Brazil, is absolutely breathtaking. The thunderous roar of cascading water, set against a backdrop of lush, verdant forests, creates a symphony for the senses. It's a place where rainbows play in the mist and exotic wildlife abounds, offering a truly unique and unforgettable adventure. Whether you're marveling at the falls from a boat or wandering along the scenic walkways, Iguazú is a testament to the awe-inspiring wonders of our natural world.

Words or photos can't describe the size, splendor or sound of these massive waterfalls. It's so wide no photo (from the ground) can capture the expanse of water plunging over these falls. I could just stand and admire. ( I found the Brazilian side better for overall views, walkways and visitor experience). Go, and you decide...

1. Located on the border between Argentina and Brazil, the falls are situated within the Iguazú National Park in Argentina and the Iguaçu National Park in Brazil.

2. The falls were formed by a volcanic eruption thousands of years ago, which created a crack in the Earth's crust. The Iguazu River flows through this crack and cascades over the edge, creating the spectacular waterfall system.

3. The falls are approximately 2.7 kilometers (1.7 miles) wide and vary in height from 60 to 82 meters (197 to 269 feet). The most famous and tallest of the falls is called "Devil's Throat," which is about 82 meters (269 feet) high.

4. The surrounding rainforest is home to an incredibly diverse range of plant and animal species, including jaguars, toucans, monkeys, and countless species of butterflies and birds.

5. Iguazu Falls is a popular tourist destination, offering various activities such as boat rides, helicopter tours, hiking trails, and wildlife watching. Visitors can explore the falls from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides, each offering unique perspectives and experiences.

6. Both the Argentine and Brazilian governments, along with UNESCO, are committed to preserving the natural beauty and ecological integrity of Iguazu Falls. Conservation efforts include habitat protection, sustainable tourism practices, and scientific research.

7. The Guarani people, indigenous to the region, named the falls "Iguaçu" and considered them sacred.

8. Spanish conquistador Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca documented the falls in 1541 during his exploration of the Paraná River.

9. In the 20th century, Argentina and Brazil established national parks – Iguazú National Park (1934) and Iguaçu National Park (1939) – to protect the falls and surrounding ecosystems.

10. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 for its outstanding universal value.

11. Both countries collaborate to manage and conserve the falls while promoting sustainable tourism.

12. Iguazu Falls stands as a testament to the importance of preserving Earth's natural wonders for future generations.

It’s one of the 7 wonders of the world…. It’s worth every penny!

Despite the fact the other tours (boat and jungle hike) were quite pricy, I hope this park keeps improving cause it’s so much better than the Argentinian side.

Damn! What can I say, the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. The Brazilian side is the better view for a big photo!

Saw both sides of the fall, Brazil side is more beautiful imo. If you want to do the boat ride on the bottom do it from the brazil side. You only need to go up and down 50 stairs as compared to 300 stairs.

Spectacular place! Park was well organized, spent the whole day walking around the trails as well as taking the boat ride. It's quite unfortunate that the Devil's Throat was closed temporarily that day, but I will come back definitely!

World class place. Definitive must see. During our visit it was flooded and looked different than usual, water was high, fast and brown.

This was one of the best experiences of my holidays, getting to see one of the 7 wonders of the world 🌎 in a extreme weather event which caused severe flooding and the water to be flowing at 20 times the normal rate. Being able to get the chance to have a helicopter flight over the falls from above and see first hand how wide the river became and the sheer volume of water flowing through was incredible, it had changed colour from the blue to a dark brown and also covered the walkways underwater on the Argentinean side, and began to damage the Brazilian side. Still lots of people had the chance to see it from the walkway and also see lot's of local wildlife along the way, steep stairs also can be difficult for some people. The food options are not fantastic but they have plenty of souvenirs. Definitely recommend having a local tour guide taking you through the park and providing valuable information. Highly recommended 👌
