Restaurante Barracão

This restaurant is a gold mine, the cost is amazing for the amount of hot fresh delicious food, plus deserts. Well worth going out of your way to eat here. Make sure to go to the back of the restaurant for the buffet, and eat outside if you can, under the trees is the best breeze, beautiful wooden tables, fun places to take pictures, the kids have plenty of play areas as well. Can't say enough of how awesome this restaurant is.

A real find in Iguacu. The buffet food is cheapest during on a weekday at R$38, R$50 on saturday, and R$52 on Sunday. The price is fantastic value for money. There is a great selection of meats, rice dishes, fried vegetables, salad etc. Desserts are included, there was a lot of sweet Brazilian style puddings and fruit.

We had a bit of trouble communicating with the staff relying on an English translation software to determine that it was all you can eat (rather than just fill your plate once only).

The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly. I definitely plan on returning. I highly recommend trying the curry chicken with rice; they offer a variety of other tasty options as well. I regret that I didn’t take a picture of foods.

Casual place for some nice drinks and tapas. Portions are very well served and good. Not very suitable for tourists due to its location.

Sitting at the entrance is an elderly woman, who is the owner. She greets and shakes the hand of every person that walks in there! I have eaten at A LOT of places and have never had that happen.

I was there for lunch, there are so many options it hard to choose from. I was so full I didn't get to try the dessert, but the locals all says it great!

Excellent buffet. We don’t speak much Portuguese and we have no problems. The staff is attentive and friendly. Great food and drink options.

The place is very nice and cozy... the food is so good! It's an open buffet The costs 30 to 35R$ on weekdays and almost 40R$ on weekends. I recommend going!
