The restaurant doesn't have any vegan options on the menu but they made me a vegan risotto with broccoli and mushrooms and the other night vegetables ratatouille style with rice, both were tasty and nicely decorated. And there also always is the famous salad and fries as well. ;)

They also have a kite school where you can rent equipment and which offers a great service!

Make sure to reserve if you can.
Flavourful, the menu is flexible, changing often and using fresh ingredients.
The owners have at hearts the client satisfaction and you can feel they love what they do.

This place is not only a great restaurant but also has a very good kite school on the side. I had three lessons at DoMar and the staff is experienced, very chilled and speak a broad variety of languages: English, German, Spanish and Brasileiro. Felt save at any time and booked a lot of progression. We had our own gear with us but if you don’t they have CORE gear for every wind strength. If we ever come back to Ilha do Guajiru this would be the place to go to.

Honestly I was suprised, how is a resturant in the middle of no where attain this quality for the area / region. I tried the burger at lunch and probably one of the best in Brazil, I travelled / lived in south to north, it’s fresh and you can taste the freshness, so I knew dinner and other menu would have high chances of being good. Dinner tried the octopus and tuna steak, excuse my language but holy god dam shtt. That’s all I have to stay, I book dinner every night ahead untill I leave, so if your seat is taken it’s probably me. The chef is apperently also the owner, seems like a man passionate about his business. 5 stars for the resturant.

We ate here plenty of times during our stay. All dishes on the menu are well chosen and everything tastes incredible! The dessert brownie is a must!

Do Mar is by far the best place to stay in ilha do guajiru. You'll enjoy top-quality services and, above all, an extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Whether it's the hotel, which offers an incredible standard of service (decoration, bedding, materials, comfort, views, etc.), the restaurant, which is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant (quality of produce, mastery of cooking and flavours, creativity of the chef and presentation) or the kite surfing lessons offered by expert instructors who are extremely knowledgeable and have a perfect command of several languages. During these memorable sessions, you'll use high-quality equipment on a part of the lagoon that will be almost completely reserved for you which is a real treat.

During my stay, I wanted to discover other parts of Brazil, but if there's one place that I regret I left for new adventures, it was Do Mar.
