Icaraí de Amontada

Amazingly beautiful quiet beach.

Loved Amontada the beach is beautiful, spacious with warm calm clear waters great to swim and for families with kids. The only negative point that I like to highlight, unfortunately happening in many beaches here is the traffic of cars, trucks, buggy’s and motorbikes is pretty intense and dangerous specially on weekends. Be cautious when walking. They have several pousadas along the beach to stay and many restaurants. Amanda is popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing. The beach is starting to deteriorate due to the fact of high traffic on the sand and the lack of garbage cans.

An awesome place to trip with the family, enjoy the beach, the local food , the nice people and the perfect sundown.

It's pretty beautiful, like almost all beaches of Ceará, but I really recommend you to search for the Barraca das Ostras (Oysters Shack). There you can eat very cheap oysters and take a boat along the river in the mangrove, so you see a lot of the fauna and flora from the city, pass through the love tunnel, and can see the dunes. Besides that, there is another shack, just after the dunes, following the river, that sells a shells stew, that is the definition of amazing.

Wonderful beach with a lot of space. Baracas, kite shools, adventure "shops" on the beach! Also a beach where you can swim (pretty unique in Ceara).

Just perfect! The sea is calm, there is many restaurants you can choose and the view is beautiful!

Great kiting spot and relaxed ambience. Very basic infrastructure yet some great posadas to stay. Try DePraya.
