Tingui Park

Loved this beautiful Ukrainian church memorial. Interesting architecture that is eye-catching, lovely surrounding green space with colourful flowers, trees with special local breed of monkeys, wide grassy fields, and impressive display of Ukrainian orthodox relics.

In Tingui Park we visited the Ukrainian memorial, a beautiful place to learn about Ukrainian history.

Park very well maintained.
Great for a walk, family picnic or getting in touch with nature.
Suggest bringing an insect repellent.

Wonderful place to visit and enjoy the cultural difference. The tiny art on eggs is incredible and so is the wood buildings handcrafted.

I went there expecting to see good views and buildings which in the end I even did so, however I've learned so much about Ukranian Genocide with the informations avaliable indoors of the attraction, and it was something shocking and remarkable for me!

Charming old wooden church, with lots of ucranian cultural items inside. There are also boards telling their history and arrival in Brazil.

Excellent place to eat, price is good around 23 dollars each one, just for food drink you need to pay apart. They have good wine.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The church is a replica of one in the countryside built by Ukrainian immigrants to Brazil way back when. The building has a very interesting outside detail. Around the entire building, there is a skirt of roofing over benches built into the side walls. I can only imagine what was going on in the mind of the person who included this detail in the original design of the building. It is such a friendly thing to include. I can see people sitting outside safe from the rain and sheltered from the wind, talking and discussing all sort of things after church or even during the service (having fled the long-winded sermon of an enthusiastic preacher). Other structures ate this local include a stage for local traditional Ukrainian dance performances, a lookout tower with bathrooms, a Egg sculpture symbolizing rebirth and a gift shop... all in the built of the same wood and detail except the egg. There is a curious cross in front of the church, as well, of the Christ and a child Christ carved out of it belly.
There are trails from these structure back out to the trails and bike paths which wander throughout the rest of the park area. It is a big place and, if you walk it all, it should take a half day. Take a lunch and water. The gift shop has some snacks and drinks.
