Such a charming and picturesque place rich with natural beauty and culture. It's a must-see if you're nearby. Honestly Brazil should be worldly known for places like this that actually represent the country's diversity and charm instead of Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo. Not saying that Rio and São Paulo are bad places but rather saying they're part of something greater.

This Gompa is the authentic Tibetan Buddhist practice lineage of Chagdud Rinpoche, a highly respected meditation master and teacher who spent his life practicing and bring the Buddhadharma to Western students in the United States, Brazil, and other numerous locations. I know my own teacher, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche, held him in the highest esteem, and visited him at his practice center in Cottage Grove, Oregon. I have hoped to receive Phowa instruction , (that he was well-known for), from Lamas from his lineage.
