Climbed Parinacota. Tough with the penitentes, but rewarded with a wander around part of the magnificent crater. Best time to climb is probably May/June rather than the end of July when I did. You'll probably get better snow conditions then.

Access to the mountain on the Bolivian side is currently controlled by the local community which demands payment for access to the road that leads to the Parinacota/Pomerape col.

Son magníficos,una de las maravillas de este planeta.
Para observarlos bien se está a una altura de 4000 m aproximadamente.Recomiendo tomar mate de Coca,o masticar la hoja.
