Hotel La Villa Chiquitana

The Villa Chiquitana is the best hotel in San Jose with comfortable rooms and tasteful decoration. Their restaurant is also excellent with delicious meals featuring local dishes and vegetarian options. The owner is kind and attentive; helpful in making touristic and transport arrangements. The staff not only provide good service but a warm environment. Especially nice was the young woman Gloria who works in the restaurant. She has a pleasant attitude and was consistently making sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful hotel located within walking distance to the main square plaza and cathedral. Overlooking the Serrania Santiago mountains, this hotel is very quaint, clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff are excellent and very accommodating to the guests. The hotel has a sparkling pool overlooking the mountains and expansive terraces where one can dine, gaze at mother nature, work, or enjoy a cocktail or warm coffee. With respect to the food, the hot breakfast is top notch, featuring fresh fruit, coffee, a variety of cereals and cold cut meats, with delicious scrambled eggs. Absolutely wonderful place to stay! One of my favourite stay in Bolivia. Very welcoming owners, spacious pool, fitness room, excellent espresso, great food. Comfortable bed and quiet A/C. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in the hotel, cozy place, very clean and peaceful! The swimming pool is ver nice and clean, food and rooms are excellent.

Lindo lugar y el personal muy amable, la comida del hotel super rica. Merece la pena volver. Como dato curioso de hospedó la Reina Sofía.

Me encantó el hotel, la atención es muy buena, la comida ni que decir. Olvidamos un par de zapatos y sin darnos cuenta el hotel se comunicó con nosotros para enviarnos. No hay duda que vamos a volver.
