An unexpected place to find the best pizza in town! Great crust, richly laden and very fair prices for the size and quality. Even the very choosy kids ate with gusto. The Burata salad is also recommendable. The location is perfect, the tables in the back look over the sea. The waiter could have been more welcoming, but still did his job well and brought us a child chair upon request.

Love this restaurant! Came by during our vacation in Bulgaria and were impressed by the beautiful location, delicious food and the wonderful staff.
The kitchen worked really fast. It never took long till our food arrived and it was always freshly made and very delicious.

I visit regularly Sozopol and always have a dinner at Matis Bar and Grill. The level of the service and the food have always been great over the years. They have never disappointed me.

One of the best places to eat in sozopol. As an Italian I confirm you that the Pizza and pasta are fantastic, I also tried the mussels and they were special. Prices are reasonable for such a quality food, place and service.

Tried the fish plater that was disappointing but the fish soup was amazing

This is hands down the BEST restaurant in all of Sozopol. My partner and I came her nearly every night and tried something different each time, and it never disappointed. We were in awe of how beautiful and tasty every single meal was. We came back on our last day and tried to Caesar burger and OMG it was insane. Cocktails were beautiful and so tasty and affordable. I’m so so sad to be leaving and will forever remember our experiences here. All staff were amazing. Cannot express how happy we were here<3 THANK YOU !

Nice restaurant with good steak and pleasant personnel. While not situated exactly on the beach it is very close. Good way to grab a good meal whole at the beach.

The most classy restaurant in Sozopol. Food is delicious. Been here few times since it opened the first time and I must say it never disappoints. They offer viraity of wines and some very interesting food combinations like the salad with pear, blue cheese and raspberry dressing that I had last night and it was oh my god, beautiful. I seriously can't recommend the place enough. Atmosphere, staff, everything is on point. Thank you Matis for the lovely evening and keep the good work.

We ate here twice during our holiday in Sozopol. There is a lot of choice, and the service is quick. Both chicken risotto and pizza calzone were delicious! We sat in a sheltered gazebo with a view of the beach which was very nice.

The food is very delicious. We have tried the salad with goat cheese, the salad with melon and the schnitzel, and everything was amazing. The waitress was super kind and offered a bowl of water for our puppy. The place is a little bit to pricey, but it is okay. Recommend it!

We went to Matis restaurant few days ago for dinner with my partner. I ordered sushi ( which is great you can find some nice sushi place in Sozopol! ) and after order I realised in sushi is Philadelphia which I really don’t like unfortunately. We asked the server if we can cancel it and change and she was so so helpful and nice. She helped us with smile on her face and she made our experience so special. She offered us blanked and she looked after us very well. She was smiled , chatty and polite. Thank you so much and I’m sorry I didn’t ask your name to mention you. The best service in Sozopol, that’s how service suppose to looks like. We will come back :-)
