Everything we tried - salad, main dishes, desserts, wine - was 10/10. The staff was polite, the food arrived really fast, and the atmosphere was cosy.

We found this place by chance while looking for a restaurant that serves Turkish dishes in Momchilgrad. I was pleased with the service, enjoyed the seating area at the back and the music they were playing. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were quite generous. I did find it slightly on the pricier side but it was worth it. Would absolutely visit again if I am in the area.

We visited on the occasion of a day trip from across the border, based on the positive reviews here. Indeed it's quite a cosy and pleasant restaurant, in terms of the food as well as aesthetically, especially considering the inconspicuous town where it's located. The dishes were well prepared and presented, with many options on the main menu as well as a smaller lunch menu. The prices were reasonable in general, and more specifically, the items on the lunch menu seemed to be a bargain (I tried a main course of veal with mushrooms and mashed potatoes from there, and it was a tasty full portion for about 10 lv). Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth a shot if you are in the area.

Very nice place. Excellent food, rich menu and very kind staff! One of the best restaurants in Momchilgrad. Open area is also available in the warm days. One of my favourite dishes is Chicken Iskender, people say it's not how it's done in Turkey, but I love their version. The kitchen is definitely on a high level.

Strange to find such a nice place in the middle of nowhere (crossing Bg from Gr)
Owner was speaking english, he treated us like we were his friends.
We asked him to do his best and let him chose the menu.
It was a good choice, appreciated a lot the "forno" stuff (check pic).

Tasteful and delicious food with low prices. Waiters with fluent English is also a bonus for travellers.

On our way home we started to check the area for restaurants and this one was looking promising.

When we arrived the waiter was speaking the local language and after we said "hello" the discussion was on point, very very good English skills.

We asked for Adana and Iskender, the portions were big enough, enough to have some space in the stomach for the dessert.

About the main courses, the meat was cooked properly and the spices were the right ones. As for the desserts we went for semolina helva(the one which looks like an anthill) and something similar with crème brule, didn't expected to be that good.

The prices were average for this type of food and the services were more than we expected.

The only downside is that they don't have English menus, as a tip for the owners if you will read this, I think it would be easier to make an online version of it, maybe a QR code to scan.

As a conclusion, please go there and enjoy the food as we did. Unfortunately you guys are too far from us, but if I will have another chance to visit you, I will.

Amazing products, quality and service! Quality of food equals and exceeds top places in Sofia. Some local dishes available as well as typical European plates. Fresh salads and vegetarian options are also available.

The service was simply amazing and the food was very good. Also, if you catch the Gris halva with ice cream desert ( it's on the lunch menu ) it's a must try !
