The Love Swing

Another year, another stop to see the sunrise at the Love Swing. This is ma favourite place to see the sunrise, especially during late October, when you can see the foliage. 20 minutes walk from where you leave the car. Totally worth it!

I loved it and took the path from Veliko Tarnovo that was very well hidden behind the sign. Thankfully there are google maps reviews. The path is very, very steep but not that long. It begins right behind the blue sign. It goes very straight up until you get to see it to your right. Be careful not to slip. Also, following the path after the swing you can get to Arbanasi, if you're interested. No shadow along the way, but a nice straight walk there.

Great view point! The hike uphill takes around 20min. It was difficult to find the path to take, so adding here some intructions: at the intersection, where you see the signs for a monastery and a gas station, the path towards the hill is right near them, a little bit hidden- see the pictures.

The road is not easy to find. The Google Maps route is not ok.
When heading towards Arbanasi (to the right) there is also at the left a small indicator saying in bulgarian "lulka" (with cyrilic letters) that you should follow. It is a 20 minutes walk from that place and the view is really beautiful.

Really steep place .Im a guy how really good physical for me was difficult bcs was dangerous.When you going up is okay but way to back is dangerous snakes and very steep na dry .Nice view

A little bit difficult to get there, but the view is worth it.

Tip:
There is a path up the road ahead (approximately 1.5 km) and is on the left, which is less difficult from the one next to the intersection.

Interesting place and a view. Be sure to take the usual road not the short one, because if you don’t have the needed equipment it’s dangerous.

Hell of a ride to get there but the view is worth it on a good day. Preferably in the morning
