Emen Canyon

A nice place to walk. Not so hard, quite easy. Beautiful nature with a nice view to the canion from above.

You start from the cave (somewhere deep there is a bat colony...you need to have a strong light to see it) then you go on above the canion and at the end of the trail, a beautiful lake with a small waterfall awaits.

About 2.5-3.5h to walk (with pictures included).

Nice hiking trail. We stopped after 20 minutes just because it was getting dark.

Nice eco trail especially in good sunny weather…not very hard, but not for people who suffer from vertigo….the waterfall at the end of the trail is worth the effort

Beautiful place, you will reach it easy by car. During a hot day you can take a bath in a stream. There is a nice trail leading at the upper part all along the canyon, ending near the waterfall.

It is good for an easy walk in nature.

Best to avoid the road through Momin Sbor as the holes in the road can kill your wheels & tyres.

Momin skok waterfall is amazing. Canyon is easy for walking and have very good panoramic view. I recomendid.

Great undiscovered spot. No tourists, we found by accident, canyon brilliant, waterfall. Lovely to spend an hour exploring.

Impressive canyon with natural sightseeing. Big waterfall at the end of the Canyon.

Wear good shoes! Several paths around the gorge one on the edge is stoney but can be slippery, the other is a bit higher up the side but after rain can be messy and a little loose underfoot. The views are lovely right through to the reservoir. It has been very dry this summer so none of the streams and waterfalls were flowing.

Prepare for a two hour round trip trek along the edge of a cliff. We had a great time!

It's a bit tricky to enter the trail, because it's not properly signaled (or we just missed it 😇) but walking across that suspended bridge it's a great way to start off the hike. The trail itself is beautiful, going between forest and exposed cliffs, but not very difficult. The view on top it's pretty great, as well as the waterfall. Deserves your visit.

At the cave, be carefull with the bats, as they live at the entrance. And also its good to have a flashlight or a guide, as the canyon and the cave are wild.

Anyway, the canyon is very beautiful and amazing! You can easly be oriented, even as low experienced. Just be on guard, because there are slippery spots. I don't recommend taking smaller children there, as you need to be carefull on your steppes.

But the view is amazing and nature is very beautifull and wild! We will be visiting again.

The trail is pretty easy, with beautiful scenery and a peaceful ending by the waterfall. When you start walking down to the waterfall, take the left path as it’s much less steeper than the right one. Take old sneakers as your new ones might get a bit dirty. It’s recommendable to visit the cave at the beginning as well.

A huge and long "crack" in the earth's crust, not massive by world standards but ok for day trip. At the end of the ekotrail you're rewarded with a small, but beautiful, waterfall. The trail isn't particularly long or difficult, about 30 minutes each way, not including stops for photo opportunities.
