Kapinovo Monastery "St Nicholas"

Wonderful place. The road to this camp is nice. And there is a lot of space for tents, caravans or campers.

Great place. Very scenic, surrounded on three sides by wooded hills. We came here for the waterfall and the swimming pool area as we visited in July. Can't comment on the monastery I'm affraid. Really good pool area and restaurant overlooking the waterfall where the locals do some pretty scary jumps and dives off the rocks. The pools in the river are also nice for swimming in but a little difficult getting out as the rock is slippery under the water.

Kapinovo Monastery of St. Nicholas is one of the most majestic, huge and key monastery in Bulgaria.
Founded in the distant 1272 during the reign of Tsar Constantine Assen.
It served as a refuge for many detachments and heroes, and was later used as a hospital.

Fantastic place! Accommodation, hospitality,peace,nature, everything is just spot on, flawless! If there is paradise on earth,must be near by!

Beautiful little monastir. Bulgarian history in real and live. Visit the small church inside the monastery. Camping place nearby.

One of the best camping locations in the region. With swiming pool, few bars, soccer playground and a lot of walking area, which makes the place lovely to spend your weekend there.

Absolutely fantastic waterfall and swimming... free in the river, pay for the pool if you want. Food was also excellent!

Very well thought out complex. Big swimmig pool next to the restaurant. The food wasn't the best, but lots of parking spaces and excellent camping site with everything you need. Magnificent waterfalls for swimming and relaxing. Taking a walk through the woods and upstream is a good idea.

The Monastery is beautiful! The park near it has lots of places for outdoor experiences and there is a public pool near it.

Worth talking a walk through this monastery offers nightly accommodations. Otherwise open to the public till 5:30pm.

Very good calling site with bathrooms and toilets and electricity even swimming pool. And more remote site of you want it.
