Pleven Panorama

The tour is guided in Bulgarian, but you can get a description in English in the ticket office. The tour starts every 30 minutes and you'll be guided through the exhibition. The entrance fee is 10 BGL, taking photos inside costs another 10 BGL.

Very nice historical place to visit. It is not a panorama of the city but a panoramic painting of the battles that took place is Pleven. A piece of history and very nice building as well.

Never seen an exhibit like this...took our breath away....very moving to see the real artifacts from the battle on display and the story behind the Bulgarian fight for independence is very inspiring...

This is a very cool place that we could have spent much more time at. Maybe next time. The build was an older building but the presentation of the weapons of the battle for Pleven was amazing. They had several Gatling guns that were used in the battle,as well as the rifles and pistols. The display on the top floor was amazing. They used painting and actual items from the battle to help portray what happened during the battle.

They have an impressive display of weaponry used in the war. The panorama is very detailed.

Not a big museum, but the panorama painting at the top is very unique, impressive and immersive. Absolutely recommending it.

This is one of the greatest monuments of Bulgarian and Russian bravery! Here our ancestors gave their lives for our freedom amd Bulgaria to exist again! Attention! Eternal glory for the heroes!

Easily the best museum in Bulgaria. The massive panorama building is drenched with history.

Get the tour guide. They're knowledgeable and tell you very interesting facts about the 5-monty siege of Pleven.

I think it is the most beautiful place to visit, it is indescribable, it can be experienced, every place smells of history.

I don't really like to remember that all that happened, so really, speaking just from an artwork perspective, the inside is amazing. Very good representation and expositions. Didn't make it to the top to view an actual panorama, which I expected to be a part of the journey, but.... There is also a collection coin, not a great quality, but a good memory.

Very interesting and a must see if you are in the area. I believe this is a one of a kind memorial to many wars fought on the very ground where it is built. The combination of 360 degrees painting along with 3D area 50 feet before the walls is a surreal experience.

A great place to learn about the Bulgarian history and get a feel of what the battlefield was like. The hall with the panoramic view is a brilliant piece of art. It was definitely worth paying the extra fee so we can take pictures/video inside. The staff were very friendly and kindly answered all our questions. We could speak to them on history related topics not directly concerning the Pleven Panorama which was great. Very knowledgeable and sweet girls. Only wish we were given more time to look at everything properly. We felt rushed to complete the tour in 30 mins as we could see the next group waiting behind us.

Historic and iconic place in Pleven, so much history there it is amazing. You could see old cannons from the late 19 century used to gain our freedom back from the Otoman empire. There us also a great view and park leading to the Panorama.

A museum for a battle in 1877. Has some weaponry and a guided tour explaining that history. But the panorama painting is amazing. I am not a fun of paintings. But this one was unique. 360 painting with a depth sensation. I spent 30 minutes there just admiring. The price is reasonable. If you are around it's a must see..

Absolute treasure! Great place to visit for fans of history and specially for those that love military history and weapons. Can't recommend enough. Also by luck got the chance to visit the place free of charge today and was able to take pictures without restrictions (I was only asked to turn off the flash).

We visited the Panorama with a group of 25 Spanish tourist, they were amazed by the beautiful details of this master piece. It was my first time there as well and I highly recommend you to take the chance and visit this place which represent an important part of the Bulgarian history.
