Парк и СПА Хотел Марково

We spent a day at the spa with my wife and my mom and dad. We have had massages booked for all 4 of us. Massages and service at the spa were great. Loved the saunas and steam room.
Indoor swimming pools and jets had no separation for kids from adults and if you are on a date it can get disruptive to your romantic time due to kids jumping and screaming all the time.
Also gym has some equipment not functioning which can break your flow of you are trying to have a work out and there are few other people using the facility at the same time.
We had food and soft drinks at the bar/coffee shop after the spa. Service and food we enjoyable.
Didn’t have a chance to stay at the hotel and check out the rooms since we drove from Plovdiv and we were there for the spa experience only. But spoke to few of the current guests and they spoke highly of the updates in the rooms.

Fantastic place for families with kids, just like they claim. We had a great time there, and I wanted to share our experience with you.

The hotel is really close to Plovdiv, so it's easy to get to. The views from the rooms are amazing, and they have a huge outdoor space with all sorts of attractions. It was pretty windy during our stay, so we enjoyed the view from our room instead of going out.

You should have seen the indoor pool area – it's like a little aqua park made just for kids! Our toddlers loved the different shallow pools and water attractions. It got a bit crowded at times, but it didn't bother us too much.

The animators and the kids' playground were excellent. The staff were experienced and kind, and they really knew how to make the children have a good time. The hygiene measures were top-notch too, with hand sanitizers and disposable shoe bags for the adults.

Our room was spacious and super clean, even in the places that are usually left untouched by daily cleaning. The bathroom was huge as well! We did notice that the aluminum windows needed some adjusting, though, because they let in some drafts during the windy weather.

Now, about the food. The hotel's restaurant was spacious and clean with nice views, but the food wasn't really up to our taste. However, we found this great family restaurant called "The Friends" just a few minutes away, and we ended up eating our lunches and dinners there. The breakfast at the hotel, on the other hand, was really, really good.

The outdoor area was beautiful, with greenery, a pond with ducks, and animators flying kites with the kids. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel was well-maintained, with teams taking care of maintenance and repairs during our stay.

So, overall, we had a fantastic time at Markovo Hotel and Spa. It truly deserves all the best family hotel awards it has received in the last few years. There were a few minor downsides, like the restaurant's food and the aluminum windows, but we would definitely go back there. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a family-friendly getaway!

Great place for families! Though of every detail about a vacation with kids, even for the babies - there was a buffet breakfast with different purees, juices and baby meals! The first place i see such thing! The first place i visit completely made for kids - nice, hot pools, different playgrounds, kids club and even cinema! Delicious and food for every taste on breakfast and dinner! Loved that place! The most important thing - there is access to every place for people with special needs! We as a family with two small kids were impressed! That's the best family hotel!

They say it's the best hotel for family vacation in Bulgaria, and we can confirm it lives up to the expectations. The service is friendly, the rooms are spacious, there are a lot of activities for the little ones. The restaurant is okay (some meals are good, some not that much), but the breakfast... THE BREAKFAST IS OUTSTANDING! So much choice and really great quality products, a lot of home made pastries, pancakes, everything you may dream of! I would rate the garden second-best after the breakfast, it is really beautiful with a couple of playgrounds, pool, pond, football field, tennis court, mini golf, and a lot of greenery. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation, especially with kids 3-12 years old.

Everything was beyond expectations! The breakfast was extremely rich and delicious, we had dinner in the restaurant and the service was amazing! The spa center was one of the best in Bulgaria - a lot of utilities, great atmosphere, inside and outside swimming pool and a lot of children friendly facilities. The room was clean and cozy, with amazing view to the mountain. Me and my friends would definitely come again!

Wonderful place with service of highest class- kind and polite, very patient and with great attention to clients needs. This hotel is the perfect place for family vacation. There are numerous attractions for kids and adults. Animators, spa, cinema, outdoor activities.. The guards in the pool area payed attention to all kids all the time. The water is clean and warm, the dressing rooms are clean and 2ell equipped. The outside area has unique climbing facilities! The food is diverse and delicious. The interior is very nicely designed with attention to the details. We will definitely visit again! :)

Best place to have a quiet time away from the concrete jungle! Awesome park where you can leave your child to play and eventually forget about them :D
Food is delicious and the service is great!

Would definitely visit again. Super relaxing for adults and super fun for children. The food was average and there was a lamp on the balcony, which was quite inconvenient, also the bathroom door was made of glass, and we did not appreciate that much, but the overall experience was great. I had a chance to finally relax a bit 😂

We are a regular guests of this hotel. The hotel had taken all precautions for the pandemic. The hotel offers great facilities for families with kids, outdoor and indoor activities, awesome spa center, great indoor and outdoor pools with hot water which was a big supprise on our first stay and one of the reasons that we come back again. Indoor and outdoor playground for kids. Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast. The service here is excellent. All the staff are extremely friendly and pleasant.Very kind and fast service,prices are very good. The hygiene is on high level everything is clean and tidy.Parking available in front of the hotel. However, the only downside of our stay where the pillows in the room. Everything was good apart from the pillows. I am utterly shocked that they allowed this to be used in a hotel like this one. There is no way possible for this not to have been noticed before. Overall everything else besides pillows was perfect. I warmly recommend !!!

Great experience would recommend! Location - few kilometers from Plovdiv in the middle of nowhere, so you can relax properly from the city. Clean and tidy rooms. Extraordinary breakfast with a lot of options and great coffee. Nice spa & park, amazing view and lighting at night of the city. Decent internal and external heated pool, but not suitable for swimming - 130cm the deepest point of the biggest pool.

Very good SPA and pool for both parents and kids. Variety of good food for both breakfast and dinner. Good kids zone with good animators. There are movie nights and special animation for the kids every day - decent.

The hotel is really good and the staff is very nice, from the reception to the maids and the kitchen staff. Pools are clean and the Spa has everything you might need. The rooms are huge with provided toiletries. The only problem we had was that the temperature in the room cannot be regulated and also we couldn't stop the AC even with the terrace door opened as per the reception's recommendation which would be inconvenient for a longer stay but we were only there for a night. Food in the restaurant was delicious as well. The hotel had taken all precautions for the pandemic.

Excellent.Clean rooms and dilysh food

Even if it seems to be in the middle of nowhere it is a really nice surprise. There is a nice view of the city, nice pool, rooms are decent and the food is good. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of the breakfast and the taste of food. Coffee is decent also.
Be sure to get a room with a city view and enjoy the night lights.

On the other side, I understood the “spa” in the name but not the “park” - they only have a yard with few small trees and some grass and that is it.

Wonderful. After 800km by motorbikes we felt fully relaxed. The room nicely organised. Very helpful staff. Nice location as didn't have to ride in the centre of the city.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Spacious rooms, fantastic food, panoramic view over Plovdiv, big children's playground and nice park around the hotel. The spa is quite big with several pools, jacuzzi, children's area, many saunas and etc. Last but not least - really polite staff 💜

Food is fast and and good! Rich and various breakfast for all tastes. Many areas for kid’s activities. Only minus was that Outside pool was a bit cold and there is no big pool inside (only for kids). Otherwise checks all boxes

Very nice hotel, especially for families with kids - interestind kids entertainment, hotel is well prepared for all ages, including even meals for kids in the restaurant. Great view from the hotel, space around, great garden... nice place for a long weekend, 10 min by car from Plovdiv center.
