Very positively surprised with this museum! I really wanted to know more about local history and crafts and everything was well explained in English, also some parts in German. I appreciate the chronological and thematic order of the exhibitions. I feel like I've learned a lot and it was very pleasant :)

Surprisingly well done. With interesting and varied objects, models, recreation of workshops and rooms, historical photos and explanations. Although very few information is translated in English. Still well worth the visit.

What we loved here was the interactivity. There was a lot of things to touch, try and do! There are special boxes with label "Do Touch" which we read Do Not Touch for obvious reasons.

A fantastic local museum with really interesting exhibits which are innovatively presented and have good English explanations. I would highly recommend if you have any interest in Bulgarian folk art and crafts, or in how people used to live in this part of the country.

It is the place to visit when going to Plovdiv! Even if you decide not to go in you can relax on benches outside and enjoy the glorious building and the nature that surrounds it.

Really cute museum. You won't be able to spend hours upon hours here but, definitely worth a short look around if this type of thing appeals to you. The pieces are well curated and presented well. The staff care for this place and it shows.
