Wonderful place really worth visiting
The kids will love it. Massive collection of butterflies and various animals and birds. I you are near Troyan don't miss it.
It is close to Troyan Monastery

Good collection of stuffed animals from this area and some from other parts if the world. Great fun for the kids especially. The river nearby is full of small fishes and with clear water.

Very well placed exposition. There is variety of animals which I was able to show to my kid. My kid was very interested and happy to see them.

A very interesting museum for the nature lovers

Great place for the kids to see real animals

Excellent! We were there today, on World Ranger Day, and the staff and nearby school had organized games for the kids visiting the museum. Both kids and parents were having fun running around the museum grounds to find clues and solve the riddles. There were different activities planned and presents for the participating children, and even a Junior Ranger certificate for the kids, who finished the activities.
Overall, both the museum and th staff are great! Definitely recommend.

We saw many animal species, the kids loved it. Animals and birds in close to real life settings, however, the hall was cold when we visited in spring, so you may want to bring a sweater or a jacket inside.

Very well organised and maintened museum. My kid even said it's better than Naturhistorische Museum in Vienna 😀

A wonderful museum situated in a lovely area.

The best science museum which one could visit outside Sofia in Bulgaria.
Staff is absolutely friendly, there are guided tours in different languages upon request, but you can choose to go around on your own.
There should be a nice eco trail starting just right next to the museum, but unfortunately is not properly maintained and it is not possible to walk on it.

Very interesting collection of animals. Birds, mamals, insects, even serpents and fish. Visited on a Sunday, not very busy.

A very interesting place with a poliet personel and a lot to do both within it and in the area. Deffinetly worth visiting to learn more about the nature and the wild life in the National Park Central Balkan.
