Camping Bor

Great camping site run by really friendly and helpful people. It is definitely no frills but there are heaps of spots to put your tent and areas to choose from. there are undercover sitting areas ,fire places and beer to buy. It's also quiet with no barking dogs just the noise of the river. I really liked the friendly vibe here and extended my stay.

Very nice camping spot. You can't camp and light a fire anywhere in Ruila National Park but in Camping Bor you can do both. It is near a very nice river and the staff is very helpful even giving us blankets when the night was colder than we expected. Would stay again!

A very quiet, calm and relaxing site in a secluded spot. In a beautiful valley with a river running next to it.
Facilities are rustic but very clean, plenty of hot water for showers. Electrical hook up, free good WiFi and drinking water. Owners were both very pleasant and helpful. Great site to visit Rila Monastery which is a 15-20 minute walk along a quiet road. There were areas away from the pitches by river set up (circles of stones) for camp fires with benches/ tables close by.

I can say it was almost the best camping place which i ve ever camp at Bulgaria. The environment is awsome. The camping area is natural. Staff is very good and helpful. The first day of our camp was very rainy. They helped us to get warm and dry. And also they helped us to cook our food.

There are many places to visit around the camping area. You will never get bored there.

We had dinner at the Bor Camping Site, because the Restaurant near the Rila monestary I can not recommend!, Good choice! this was really five star! Delicious, super friendly and good prices. They also have a bbq around 7 pm. The areas is really nice and quiet. A must if you Love Nature and good food :)

Great, quiet place, near a river, friendly host! Walking distance to Rila Monastery.

Very friendly staff who makes you feel welcome. There is a lovely open kitchen with fireplace and gas hobbs which can be used by all guests.
Toilet and shower with very hot water, with river view!
We slept in green wooden huts with 2 beds and table and chair. There is electricity inside.
Near the huts there are very useful tables and stools carved by wood. When raining is perfect to avoid the tent for an extremely cheap price.
There is a bar and they served food by the reception building.
Lovely countryside style.

We spent 3 days in the camping with a tent. The area is beautiful and the location is perfect for those who like nature. The host was friendly and very helpful and we could communicate in English. The food was good.

Great extraordnary camping. You feel like you are in wild nature, but at the same time you are safe from thiefs, you can use WC and hot water, and can eat delicious atractive cooked meal. The river crosses the camping and you can hear it all the time.

Very scenic location in Rila mountains and nearby to the lovely Rila monastery. Tasty bbq. Good facilities considering the very low price we paid (8 Lev per person for camping).

Abandoned. But incredibly beautiful nature around.

Si vous cherchez un endroit calme, propre, vert et paisible: vous avez trouvé le paradis. Nous étions réticents en lisant les commentaires sur différentes plateforme mais nous avons été très agréablement surpris. Les gérants ne parlent pas anglais mais font de leur mieux pour que votre séjour soit agréable. La rivière qui passe est froide mais cet endroit est un véritable havre de paix dans un écrin de verdure. De plus, c’est a 2 pas du monastère. Notre chien était le bienvenu

Prachtige plek! We stonden op een hele mooie plek met ons tentje naast een riviertje. Er waren wat bankjes en een plek om een kampvuur te maken, heel fijn!

Świetnie zlokalizowany kamping nad górską rzeką, na wysokości bodajże 1200 mnpm, a więc w upalne dni można liczyć na niższą temperaturę podczas biwaku. Infrastuktura taka oldschoolowa, ale czysta i działająca, dodaje to tylko temu miejscu uroku. W pobliżu Monastyr Rilski oraz sam masyw Gor Rilskich ze słynnymi 7 jeziorami.

Митко е прекрасен човек и домакин с точни и ясни правила! Рядко се срещат вече такива хора. Пожелавам му дълги години да работи със същото желание и внимание към детайла.
