Nice ambiance, great food and very friendly staff. We have eaten 3 times here during our 6 day stay in the city.
P.S. Their own brand of craft beer (draught) is fantastic!

Good food and reasonable prices. The outside area was nice. Beer was 5 leva and the duck was 25 leva. Some cheaper options on the menu as well. I would give it 4.5 stars not 5 as the food was a little cold. It was also later at night and cool out so maybe that could have affected it

FABULOUS food! I started with their local craft beer, had a tripe soup, ribs with fries(real ones not frozen)& Bulgarian cheese and celery steak. All were Great. I would come here again any time.

Highly recommended! Great food and good service. Must try the roasted peppers and zucchini salad, also the slow roast ribs, vegetarian kebab and freshly baked baguettes. Foreigner friendly (the staff speak good English).

Wonderful CRAFT BEER on tap combined with an adventures menu of delicious food. Wish I could order one of everything and finish with freshly pressed espresso. Sit inside and ogle the eclectic wall decor. We had the duck and 4 beers because mmh!

The place is very artistic and has the pub vibe. The food is delicious. We tried the pork and sour cabbage soup and we were in love!!! The blond curly server was very nice and smiling. We will definitely visit the place again.

This is a place with atmosphere! The staff is very friendly - no matter if you pass by only for a beer/coffee or for a lunch, they will do their best to make you feel comfortable. Freshly squeezed lemonade or home-brewed beer - it's up to you. The daily cooked lunch includes 2- or 3-meals options and the prices are more than acceptable (about 5-6 EUR for 2-course menu). Highly recommend it!

I loved the variety in the menu. There are dishes that you do not meet in a ordinary restaurant.

Fun atmosphere, service is great, very accommodating dining with a baby, fantastic food, delicious craft beer.

My friend and I decided to have a lunch at Malkia Inter, as I’ve been there in 2017 and I wanted to give it a try once again - weren’t disappointed. Delicious food, great staff - Millen did his best even though there were many customers and we were seated at rush hour.

An amazing restaurant I would recommend to everyone. I spent a whole Erasmus semester trying to eat there every day. The decoration is very unique and has a lot of details. The waiters (literally all of them) are very nice.
I always came there to have the lunch menu. For a good price you have a 3 course menu which is always different. The quality, the variety and the presentation of food is just incredible. Also if you order the lunch menu you receive your food very quickly.
I am very happy that I discovered this place together with a friend.

The only complain I have , is that some person was smoking IQOS inside the bar....but anyway..all the rest was awesome

Great place in Veliko Tarnovo and glad to see it's still after visiting 12 years ago. The personnel is very nice, the food is good (real french fries not the frozen stuff!) and they make a nice big Aperol Spritz.

Very nice place in the old town. We were a group of 4 and tried different foods, which were all great. At the moment they've seasonal pumpkin soup, which was delecious. The staff was also friendly, but could be a bit more attentive, e.g. They brought an empty jar of garlic.

Great location, intetesting atmosphere, great food, friendly staff. We got a surprise performance by 3 bagpipers. Definitely recommend it. There is a good separation of smoking area outside and non-smoking inside, but not sure how it will work in the summer if non-smokers want to sit outside.

Very nice place, outstanding decorated. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, food is great. Plus a cat with personality!

Lovely little restaurant on the corner of the hill before entering the old town more or less opposite the Prison Museum. A retro mix of items adorn the ceilings and walls from port holes off a ship to the upside down chair hanging from the ceiling to the collection of buttons stuck to another part of the ceiling, this place has numerous talking points to catch your attention whilst you wait for your order.
Yesterday 20/09/20 we enjoyed a fabulous meal of Chicken wings, Eggs Benedict and meatball or burger in a wrap with Herby chips and Aioli sauce.
The menu here is not extensive but I would say that is better than scrolling through pages and pages of items. What you do get is freshly cooked food with quick and friendly service. We had an excellent waitress who was efficient and friendly even though the restaurant was very busy and to our delight she spoke English which is very helpful for those of us still trying to master Bulgarian although we did try we're still some way from conversation so thank you for indulging us and putting up with our poor accent and pronunciation. The food was excellent and the eggs were runny on the Benedict what more could you ask for 😁. For a meal for 4 main courses, glass of wine, 2 beers and 2 soft drinks and 4 coffees it came to approximately £30 or 60 Lev which we felt was good value for the meal we had. A note about parking around the area, during the week if you find a space you have to pay a parking fee either at the machine or via the wandering parking attendant, weekends are free parking but do park within the allocated bays or you might find your car is lifted/towed away, it is a busy area and parking can be difficult, the restaurant itself is also busy but they do have additional tables inside so hopefully you can enjoy this little treasure as much as we did.
