Calla Retreat

We had great time, we spent the NYE at this place, it was a big pleasure. Incredibly clean rooms, super friendly hosts. If you need something during the stay, the take care of it immediately.
Would love to visit again in the warm days.

Richard and Kelly were consummate hosts--we had the pleasure of connecting with them just prior to our long stay, as we were visiting Bulgaria, and exploring different parts of the country to live. We also wanted a peaceful retreat, and Calla Retreat certainly delivered on that.

We traveled as a couple with our 3 dogs in tow, and we stayed in the cottage at Calla Retreat. It was a blessing to have a small private yard for the pooches, and our space with everything we needed--small living space, a large bedroom (including a bunk bed) and a kitchen with cooking supplies. However, we took advantage of the extra private meals that Richard offers most days, and he's also a wonderful cook. It really made our long journey so much easier.

I could go on and on about the hospitality, and the quiet of being in the countryside (while being only just an hour away from Burgas, and about 20-40 minutes from other smaller towns), but to close, do consider a stay at Calla Retreat. There are also rooms in the main house, and yoga onsite and massage by Kelly, and also a few private yurts.

Absolutely gorgeous! Every little detail is touched by the caring hands of Richard and Kelly, who are kind, extremely hospitable and open-minded. Having the chance to meet them, share ideas, try the delicious food that they prepare was not a coincidence. Richard could meet the dietary preferences even of a picky eater, leaving a smile on their face. Calla retreat is welcoming, calm, peaceful, colorful and exciting (especially with the two adorable dogs). Each chill-out area has its own charm. The garden, the rooms and the bathrooms are clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend staying at least a few days to also see the nature around. The place is suitable for yoga retreats, camping, romantic weekends for couples and a family holiday, or just taking some time alone outside of the city. I would love to go there again!

Just absolutely amazing! Kelly and Richard are so friendly, open, kind, welcoming, respectful and the service they provide is impeccable! They obviously love what they do and it radiates. They have created a beautiful home full of positive energy. Me and a friend went there for a yoga and meditation retreat and after only a few days we both feel wonderful! I would highly recommend Calla retreat for anyone looking for a retreat but also for a lovely place to stay near the coast. I’ll definitely be back there soon!

I highly recommend this place if you need to escape from the busy town life. Great hosts with number of services - yoga, reiki, walks, fishing. Tasty home prepared food with own garden supply. Fabulous conditions to chill out and relax. Very clean premises. Dog friendly. Will be back for sure.

Absolutely wonderful experience.
I traveled half of the world and can say with no doubts that it's one of the best places I've ever been. It's very much about attitude of owners who created this space with alotta love, care and attention to details.
Perfect place to relax, recharge and be in a contact with nature in a super comfy conditions.
I also have to mention the uniqueness of food I've got there. It's a home made and sooo delicious!
I'm very thankful for my awesome staying there and def gonna come back to this piece of paradise.

Usually there isn't anything purely perfect and there are pros and cons everywhere. But this place seems to be an exception. I loved everything during my staying there.

Щастливи сме, че открихме Calla Retreat! Влюбени сме в това място! Спокойствие, красота, уют, природа! Домакините са помислили за всичко! Нашата нощувка беше в палатка, в която имаше всичко необходимо за престоя ни - удобни легла, usb зарядно, карти за игра, свещи, освежаващи напитки. До палатката има еко тоалетна и баня, но ако не искате да ползвате тях, в основната сграда има и вътрешна баня и тоалетна (за която помолихме в предварителен чат с домакините). Препоръчваме да опитате вкусните, домашно приготвени ястия, които ни приготвиха гостоприемните ни домакини! Благодарим Ви, Кели и Ричард за всичко - за грижите за нас, за разговорите, за топлото отношение!
We are happy to have found Calla Retreat! We are in love with this place! Peace, beauty, comfort, nature! The hosts have thought of everything! Our night was in a tent, which had everything we needed for our stay - comfortable beds, usb charger, playing cards, candles, refreshments. next to the tent there is an eco toilet and a bathroom, but if you do not want to use them, in the main building there is also an internal bathroom and toilet (which we asked for in a preliminary chat with the hosts). We recommend you try the delicious, home-cooked meals prepared by our hospitable hosts! Thank you, Kelly and Richard for everything - for the care for us, for the conversations, for the warm attitude!

Има много места в целия двор, на които може да релаксираш.
А Кели и Ричард - са повече от прекрасни! Толкова топли, лъчезарни и позитивни хора! Няма как да не те заредят и теб с положителна енергия! Ако е необходима допълнителна.. То Ричард може да помогне с рейки, а Кели с индивидуални уроци по йога. Хора, от които може да научиш много неща ☺ Благодарна съм, че ги срещнах.
Храната, която приготвят е фантастична! И толкова красиво поднесена... Че се чувстваш като в 5-звезден ресторант с много приятна компания, а музиката - от щурците👌
Мога да напиша още много положителни неща, но на кратко: Влюбена съм в това място, от което не исках да си тръгвам и с нетърпение чакам да се върна отново! Всеки трябва да посети поне веднъж Calla Retreat и съм сигурна, че ще усети цялата тази любов и ще иска да се върне отново ❤
