Restaurant "Alafrangite"

Definitely the best traditional restaurant in Bulgaria!!! And I have worked in hospitality my whole life 🙃. Service was very attentive without being overwhelming, server was kind and explained all specials which were all of great quality. Their homemade breads are second to none(we had the white cheese-kashkaval-sundriedtomato parlenka and it was sublime.
As my Barcelona mates stated- the homemade ice cream(btw super gooey just like freshly baked mozzarella Mmm..) was the best they have ever tasted! (And they live in Barcelona!!!)

The overall experience was beyond excellent. The food was great, super tasty and carefully made, and the prices were pretty darn good too. The decor was incredible, relaxing and full of plants. You gotta try their deserts too, the chocolate cake was 10/10. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Amazing place. I find that vegan dish on the menu is not a thing in Bulgaria, but then I discover marvelous places like this one that actually have some delicious vegan options amongst everything else. I was apsolutely stunned with the test of food. In addition to that service was polite and professional. Tables separated enough for you to enjoy your time there. Highly recommend!

One of the best places where I have eaten in Bulgary. Everything is homemade, super tasty, the staff is very kind and attentive and all the restaurant very cozy. Its just a heaven!

I went through Haskovo many times and I never thought to eat here but this time the hunger was great !! I chose this restaurant because it had the highest rating in town and because I did not go far from the chosen navigation route. I have to admit that the moment we walked the streets to the restaurant we were convinced that we made the wrong choice. Very narrow streets, poor homes, fallen plaster, misery from place to place ... everything made you think it was a mistake! But I was surprised! An elegant restaurant with a magnificent garden, contrasts strongly with the area. You can say it's like a diamond in a dump. The food was delicious, excellent serving and although it is not at all a cheap restaurant, I recommend it with warmth !!

Already a few days after we visited, still all of us fondly remember the beans soup with bacon. Everything we ordered was excellent, the service was great. I was so delighted to find such a great restaurant in Haskovo. I recommend with both hands.

Excellent location! Beautiful architecture of the restaurant's main building. The food is delicious and the staff are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are ok. Excellent atmosphere! Would definitely recommend

Great service! The restaurant is situated in a historic house and the garden is asbolutely stunning! I recommend the "Trakiiska salad", "Purlenka with cheese and garlic" and "Maluk kebab". Only negative thing is the huge menu, which could be a bit overwhelming. Definitely recommended!

I can't believe this place. It's a hidden gem. I do not know if was the sunny weather we got treated to but the place was amazing. One can really tell that the owners care a lot. The garden was very well kept, the tables were clean, the staff was very friendly and the food was exquisite. I would most definitely visit again.

Excellent restaurant. Great choice of vegetarian dishes - there was overall a lot of different choices in the menu, so I overate. The garden was giving quite relaxing vibe. The waiter was most accommodating.

Kitchen and the service are excellent! We enjoyed a variety of appetizers and dishes - rabbit with herbs, chicken parmesan, tender beef and pork strips with white wine. Everything was delicious! The portions are fairly big and you get yummy complimentary bread with some spread.

The atmosphere in the garden was very nice. The tables were not too close to each other.
