Very interesting place that i visited. It was really old an very well preserved. It is Beautiful Tomb and the restoration takes more than 30 years if I am right. Intetionaly I am not posting photos from the inside. So I recommend you visit it an enjoy the ride 😇✌🙂

Winter Solstice at Helis in 2022: Gaeti tribe’s wonderful place. I’m completely besotted by it. So close to my place of birth (Ruse) yet so little known. I’ll try to compensate.
!!! Closed during December, January and February months, I believe. Please phone before you go. We were only aloud to walk the grounds. Still— mesmerising experience. Bring a piece of organic ribbon to tie to a tree (in a specially designated area of Demir Baba Tekke). Legend has it that it heals and fulfils wishes. Best of luck.

Interesting. This is the closest you can get, to experience the feeling of being in a tomb. Well preserved and arranged. Engaging tour-guide, answering visitor's questions. Nice walk around the park, with scenery view of the surroundings. There were on-going excavations on the side, which were interesting for the kids, to see the process.

This is a must. The tomb dates back to the first quarter of the 3rd century BC, yet it's exceptionally well preserved. It's an easy walk that's totally worth it.

In a word, amazing. Literally out in the middle of nowhere, and a challenging drive to get to, but worth it. If you find yourself in this corner of Bulgaria, you owe it to yourself to go. The pictures don’t do it justice. 16lv per person includes guided tour in English. WC and vending on premises. Bragging rights to your history inclined friends.

Amazing how these tombs look like built yesterday, yet more than 2000 years have passed.. Too bad the artefacts found on site are taken away in Sofia.

It's quite small but very impressive... Enter the building, buy a ticket then wait for the guide to appear.

Very interesting place! Well preserved, providing a good sense of the rituals of thracians - definitely must visit it!
The staff working there is very polite and provide a great service - telling us the story of the tomb and answered to all questions we had! :)

Beautiful carvings and impressive site. Informative guided tour. Turn up and wait for a tour to start. We had a tour in English with only three people. Other groups are larger depending on demand.

This Tracian tomb is absolutely stunning! The best preserved tomb in Bulgaria that you definitely should visit. Absolutely unique with all these female sculptures and 3 arcs of solid stone. I wish I could have more then 10 minutes to stay in there.

Absolutely beautiful and unique place! Easy to find, just a short turn from main road. There is a little carpark, toilets and drinks and souvenir shop. To enter the tomb you need a guide, we managed to catch the last entry at 17.45. The guide was very nice, knowledgeable and patient despite the fact it was 15 mins after the end of his shift when we finished the tour (very rare in Bulgaria! ☺) There are other tombs around, but they were not open for visits when we got there.

A must see place! Magnificent example of architecture and and art skills of ancient Tracian people living more than 2300 years ago. Unique 3 chamber Tomb build using dry masonry method, perfectly preserved with almost no restoration work - it is as it was 23 centuries ago. Unfortunately the visits are limited to 10 minutes in order to maintain constant temperature and humidity but still it's worth seeing it with your own eyes.
