Great campsite! For tents, motorhomes and overlanders. Great hosts, craft beer available onsite, clean toilets and washing up areas, a great pool to relax in, great for kids to explore the myriad of paths to the different areas. Covered gazebo with seating for when the rain comes.

We had a great time camping here, the owners and their kids (and two very well behaved dogs!) could not have been more kind and hospitable. There's a pool, fire pits and plenty to explore around the site. Facilities are simple but clean, and you can tell that there has been care put into making them eco friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks again

Amazing place - you should definitely stay there. Handy location if you are traveling from Bulgaria to Serbia. The family is very friendly and the surroundings are beautiful. There is even a small pool you can use. You can pay with card or in euro if needed.

Calm and clean. Terrific sceneries. The nicest and most intelligent owners ever, and their kids are amazing and fun. Wish to see more people visit that wonderful place... the sheer amount of work put in this spot is insane. Go on Thursday, skip traffix and stay until Sunday evening! Our first trip to bulgaria and our first camping there. It may be a little of the road, but the camping was amazing. We stayed there for 1 night and everything was arranged for us to have a good night there. The ability to make fire, the wild nature and all the animals give a real feeling of adventure at this camping, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We were at the Blue Gate Farm 2 years ago and enjoyed our stay there! The hosts are very nice people, the whole family was very polite to absolute strangers like us. Also - animals, which gives an instant 5-star :)

Very nice place, close to Sofia city. Nature, quiet, BBQ :) outdoor shower was the best for me, I like it so much. The hosts are friendly couple. Highly recommended :)

This place is simply beautiful. Small and clean pool for a refreshment, great hosts to make you feel homey. Coming back for sure!

Highly recommended for your overnight stay or longer! There are three large caravan spots. Do call in advance to make sure there is a spot available. This family-owned spot is a delight. They have a large above-ground pool. Lovely, outdoor shower. Clean eco-toilets. Beautiful cow and horse pastures. You are guaranteed to be welcomed by the cows one afternoon! Electricity for your camper is possible. WiFi available throughout the property. The owner is a native English speaker and happy to help with all of your needs. Very safe and secure area! The road from Sofia to the farm is in poor condition and takes about 40 minutes to drive with a car, almost an hour with a caravan. Be careful of potholes and stray dogs. Overall, definitely worth a stop for some relaxation and rejuvenation. EUR and BGN payment possible!

We stayed at “The Sweet Spot” for two nights. Place was delightful, hosts were super nice and friendly. There’s a small but well equipped kitchen that’s also only yours, a separate toilet, two chill spots with chairs and they even brought ice. Felt at home, totally would come back. ❤

Amazing campsite. I emailed in the morning to ask if there was still a spot available for the night, and Rachelle confirmed in less than half an hour. We arrived late at night because of the horrible Serbian border crossing, so I called to give a heads up, to which Rachelle responded very compassionate and told us to just call when we arrive so she could open the gate, no matter the time. She greeted us warmly, asked us where we wanted to park and gave us every choice. Even though it was passed 10.30 PM, we could still use the amazing outdoor shower. We had a lovely quiet night, and decided to stay the day. We spend the day relaxing on the quiet campsite, reading, going for a swim in the pool, playing card games, petting the dogs, feeding the chickens, having a chat with Rachelle, and listening to the endearing sound of the cows' little bells in the meadow next to the campsite.
11/10 would recommend!

Van heaven on earth! Found this place randomly while exploring Bulgaria. The road is a bit difficult but once you get there you forget everything. Although we didn’t book ahead of our arrival and got there at around 21.30, the stuff was super friendly and helpful. Found us a place to park and gave us access to all the facilities. Hot water shower, compost toilet, wi-fi, fresh water to fill our tanks and even cassette toilet desposal, pool and a number of outdoor activities from archery to voleyball.
We are already planning our next visit to that place!

We stayed there for one night during our road-trip to Turkey. This is a wonderful and perfect place for all who are looking for nature camping. The outdoor shower was my personal highlight and the Hosts are super nice, hospitable and stood us with any questions/ problems always to the side. Strongly recommended if plan to travel to Bulgaria. We’ll stopping by during our trip back to Germany.

Spent there 2 nights and it was awesome. Super friendly owner, beautiful place and just what you need if you want to escape from the hustle of the big city. In the middle of nowhere, in beautiful nature. Will be back!

We camped here recently with our three children and it was a wonderful weekend! The campsite is quiet but with lots for kids to do, trampoline, pool, mud kitchen, sand pit, a cool little forest, hammock etc! The owners kids are also so friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to get to know them too. The owners themselves are so welcoming and want to help you with whatever you need to enjoy your stay. The sunsets and stars are so beautiful, we loved toasting marshmallows on the fire, spotting insects and birds and generally relaxing. We will return for sure! Thank you for a brilliant weekend!

Blue Gate Camping Farm is stunning. Situated within the rolling hills of Bulgaria. The views from the site are something to behold. The hosts are warm inviting and nothing is a tall order for them. Special Mention to Ronin who is fantastic with the guests. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay for a day or 7 you’ll leave wishing you could come back right away! Visit here and you won’t regret it one bit! A Bulgarian gem 💎

Very nice campsite where we stayed for 2 days. The owner is very nice and involved in making sure you are having a great stay. Fresh beers, nice views and lots of nature. The only unfortunate thing is that there were no chickens ;)

I recommend this spot for all the camping lovers,it has everything you need to have a cozy and comfortable experience. It's surrounded with beautiful nature, you can hike to the top of the hill and meet with horses and cows on the way. The camp site it self is very convenient for warm sleep at night, cooking meals and chilling. The host took a very good care of us, well be definitely back very soon.

Amazing and original camping, with a real belief in environnement protection. Rachelle and Asen are really good hosts and very helpful. you can get some food from a local restaurant as well. I’m looking forward to seeing you again on another trip !
