Hut Gurgulitsa

Welcomed there very warm, next time it is good to call the guys, so they can prepare warm lunch(that is what they said) They had cold beer and the place is majestic.

Located near the Kostenski Waterfall, this place offers a nice retreat in the mountains. There's one major house and also several smaller wooden huts for a more private experience. Staff is nice, food is awesome and tasty. The herd of cats adds the final touch in this great place.

Clean and tidy place located in the forest. There are swings, slides and playground for the kids around the hut. The place offers food - salads and grill. The hut is reachable by car in the summer. The surroundings are suitable for hammocks.

The hut is more than anyone can ask for in this magical place. Great food, good accommodation, and everything is crazy cheap. The owner is running the place all on his own with his wife cooking this delicious food, so If something is a bit late, or they seem busy, keep in mind that they host all sorts of events with tons of people and CARE FOR THEM ALL , give them a break, be patient, basically be HUMAN and I guarantee you will more than enjoy your stay! MUCH LOVE TO THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE for adding some comfort and great food to this beautiful place.

Mr. Alex Drak below visited the location as a part of an event organized by me. His statement is revealing a severe lack of capacity to adequately comprehend the reality of the places he is going to. This is an establishment built tens of years ago to accommodate passing groups of trekkers. The toilets are what they are and they are big enough. The beds correspond to the standards of mountain huts in Bulgaria. As do the prices. When I visited Greece for a similar event, what I got in a hut for 15 Euros - twice as expensive - was a thin matress to sleep on a floor in a dorm with 50 people, no sheets whatsoever. The toilets in Gurgulitsa are regularly cleaned and the sheets are always perfectly clean. In the framework of the mentioned event we are pressuring with 300 people an infrastructure built for 50. Hence the foam plates, necessary to relieve the use of hot water, because you guys need to shower all the time. You get a decent breakfast for 2 euros with 300 people around and you want cuttlery - not going to happen. There was additional personnel, yet the kitchen's capacity is what it is and not going to get bigger because of you and your unrealistic demands. Did I mention that most huts in Bulgaria are state owned and no contractor can make any long term investments. This is one of the best. You have come here as guest to my event and not as a regular visitor, so you get what has been organized to accommodate this event and exactly what you have paid for. You are not entitled to a review in the capacity of a regular visitor. You are interfering with my organization and due to this, as well as due to your other actions related to the event itself, you are no longer welcome at my events.

Amazing place for a relaxing trip in the mountains - very close to the Kostenets waterfall and some great camping ground. Also offers good food at reasonable prices.

Прекрасна хижа! Само минахме покрай нея по път за Скаловитския водопад, но със сигурност изглежда като чудесно място за отдих. Има няколко беседки, детска площадка и явно хижата беше пълна, тъй като отвън на масите имаше доста хора.

Прекрасно място, време и отношение към нашите нужди и потребности! Съобразителност във всяко едно отношение! Много вкусни пържени филии и споделено време в хубави разговори с хижарите.
Прочетох някои коментари и бих споделила, че човек е добре да поостане някоя и друга нощувка там, за да види какво успяват да направят двама души с любов, вяра и доверие в доброто, което носи всеки един от нас!
Благодарна съм, че там заведохме дъщеря ни като първа хижа за нощувка и получихме тази топлина от страна на хижарите!

Изключително красиво място. Ние посетихме няколко пъти ресторанта и сме много доволни, беше топло, вкусно и на много добри цени. Домакинът може би е особен човек, но ние не сме имали лош опит даже напротив, той ни разказа за хижата, околността и природата, за което сме благодарни. Иска ни се и най-вероятно ще бъдем гости и на хижата, не само на ресторанта.
Обхват на мобилните телефони липсва на много места в и около хижата.
Пътят до там има нужда от ремонт, но е проходим с лек автомобил, а мястото за паркиране е доста голямо.

Чудесно място за хапване след разходка от Костенския водопад до хижата. Дори зимата е приятно и разстоянието се изминава за около час. В хижата е топло, храната е вкусна
От хижата има пътека до Скаловитская водопад. Добре обозначена и поддържана. Водопада изглежда величествен, дори замръзнал.

Изключително любезни домакини. Прекрасна и вкусна храна, големи порции, прекрасни супи, салати и ястия. Много уютно. Разположението, прохладата са за спокойна почивка. Посетете непременно.
