What an experience. Climbing from the foot of the mountain to the top. It's a short trip from Sliven, nearby to the Sliven village itself.

At a steady pace, It takes 1.5 hours to hike through the steeper path up to the summit where you find an array of amenities. Kids area, a seating area, fresh drinking water from the mountain.

The specialty here is the bakery, the bread is cooked hot and fresh right there, Bulgarian spices are offered for the tradition seasoning of the bread, or you could do what I did and buy the Bulgarian style meat and Sausage (kofte style), and put that into the fresh bread for a simple but delicious combo.

There is road access, if you want to avoid the incredible hiking views and experience. 1.5 hours up, 1 hour down, plus we spent another couple hours at the summit eating and taking in the fresh mountain air/scenery.

There is also a "Go ape" style arena, a climbing wall!!, Hockey courts, as well as other activities here.

It is easily a day trip, if you wanted it, or you could squeeze in a 3 hour round trip on foot - if you really set the pace and make it a hardcore workout only.

If you want to try the best bred in the world you must visit the bakery! You can get there by:

- walking on "haidushkata pateka" - 3/5 difficult well marked mountain path.
- using the lift service (tip: if you buy membership card for just 1 Lev your lift ticket will cost just 3 leva for each direction, otherwise the cost is 10 leva per direction).
- with car on well maintained road. Keep in mind the road is good but around 30 kimoleters all with sharp turns.

However you get there you shall not regret the experience :)

The bakery is a wonderful place to taste a well baked bread and have a long chat with a friend. Hundreds of people from the town of Sliven go there every weekend. It's a good place for kids to play. Overall, very cheerful and nice place. Recommend it.

I knew the place for so many years, but now they made it better. It is perfect for kids with playgrounds for different ages,and it's a place with clear air in the mountains, so is perfect.

Góra Karandiła(Karandila), park krajobrazowy Sinite kamyni, miasto Sliven, Bg.Wspaniałe miejsce, świeże powietrze przesycone zapachem ziół, górskie jezioro, wspaniałe trasy turystyczne piesze na górę o nazwie Karandiła (ok. 1120 m n.p.m.) Doskonałe miejsca do wspinaczki. Dojeżdża się do podnóża góry samochodem. Stamtąd można dojść na szczyt pieszo (dla wysportowanych) lub wjechać wyciągiem krzesełkowym. Na szczycie można zjeść wyjątkowo smaczny chleb z dodatkiem wody źródlanej, pyszne kebaby, wypić piwo lub skorzystać z przyrządów do ćwiczeń. Dla dzieci wyodrębnione miejsce do zabawy. W pobliżu hotel i pensjonaty. Warto tu zajrzeć w drodze nad morze (półtorej godziny od Burgas), jeśli lubimy miejsca, gdzie ingerencja człowieka nie zniszczyla jeszcze pierwotnej przyrody.

Много вкусен хляб и скара. Цените са нормални. Препоръчвам десертите , особенно чийзкейк. Заведението има много места и маси отвън и вътре. Тоалетната е чиста. На самообслужване е и се редиш на опашка, но не се чака много.

Страхотно място за разходка. Въздухът е кристално чист, водата - студена, а гледката - удивителна. Има заведение за хранене, но цените са малко завишени. Въпреки това, хлябът е много вкусен и винаги изпечен на място. Не е като старата фурна, разбира се, но може да мине за приемлив вариант!
